A dress that doesn’t even cover your bra? Now just how tacky is that? It’s bad enough when they wear clothing that lets the bra straps show but this was just unbelievable…no stupid and ridiculous. Even if she was dressed that way just for Rafe and only in their own house, I didn’t find it attractive or sexy or anything else. Good Lord, I certainly hope someone is not trying to set a new trend. I cringed when women started wearing black bras under white shirts. Is this supposed to be the next fashion statement? I sure hope not.
December 27, 2011 at 1:57 pm #29918DeeLanParticipantI said this in another thread. I have a VERY full figured niece who’s always wearing spaghetti strapped tanks with a black or white bra under and the thick straps. I think it looks tacky and feel if you can’t wear that type of top or dress without a bra then you have no business wearing it at all.
December 27, 2011 at 3:13 pm #29925luckeyParticipantthat those types of tops had a built-in bra for support…maybe not. I also thought that Sami looked strange in what she was wearing.
December 27, 2011 at 3:53 pm #29927mommytutuParticipantwhat’s called a shelf bra, but they aren’t made for busty women and even those of us without the big boobs don’t look good in them alone. I replied to DeeLan’s comment on the other board. I think people really need to learn what looks good and what’s appropriate. Camis are meant to be worn underneath appropriately covering tops and dresses, not by themselves.
December 27, 2011 at 4:32 pm #29931PattiParticipantbut either way, the under-bra was not attractive, and neither was the color of it. I had exactly the same response when she first walked back out after changing her dress. I thought, "so anxious, are we Sami, to get your hands on that hunk-a-husband of yours that you forgot to take off your bra?" Then, I realized it was ‘built-in’ and just shook my head at wardrobe once again.
December 27, 2011 at 5:06 pm #29938NoraParticipantStill it’s her husband she shouldn’t feel self conscious around him, i mean they’re being intimate.
December 27, 2011 at 6:46 pm #29940DeeLanParticipantWhen I first saw the gown from the front I thought it had a blue inset at the top but then I saw it from the back and realized it was not built into the dress but her actual bra she had on. It was even more obvious when Rafe slid the strap of the gown down and the bra straps stayed in place.
December 27, 2011 at 8:00 pm #29944lynnekarenParticipantI DO NOT think wearing a bra under your lingerie is becoming a trend. I think that cami was so low cut that Ali Sweeny HAD to cover up for tv. IMO, she should have worn a black bra, even red would have been better.
December 27, 2011 at 8:34 pm #29945PattiParticipanteven worse was the color. Should have been black. Horrible effect on what would otherwise have been a very cute and very sexy nightie!
