Huh?!?
In order for Ari to have a niece or a nephew she has to have a sibling OR have a sibling who has a child (to which she would be a great aunt.) Was that line supposed to be "Ari has aunts and an uncle who are not that much older then her" – which would have been accurate and still sorta funny.
Am I nuts here?
That was my reaction too. Johnny, Sydney and Ali are Will’s brother and sisters, That makes Ariana their niece and makes them her uncle and aunts.
when Will said it. I went over and over it but just thought it was my old brain not being able to sort it out, LOL. Any way you look at it nobody is Ariana’s niece or nephew unless she has a sibling who had a child, right?
and believe me it was noticed everywhere, not just here. Pretty stupid of someone, I would say, not to catch it. Just goes to show how much they pay attention to actually what is said or written.
How NOT invested the actors are. I almost feel Kristian A. or Deidra would be like "Umm – wtf." Guy, as is shown with his "acting" chops – isn’t as invested probably b/c he’s (IMO) just not that compelling in the role. I wonder if it’s this role or him as an actor – either way, he continues to underwhelm me.
I read that they shoot in one take and need to learn 50+ pages of dialogue for each day. Since they don’t shoot in sequence how would Kristen or Deidra even know the diaolgue? Im guessing that they only get the scenes they are in. Since this scene didn’t include either woman, I don’t think they would know about it.
Finally, Guy delivers the lines that are given to him. Why didn’t copy writers catch it before the stars got the scenes?
THere have been many times I have caught someone saying the wrong name or messing up, but there is no second chance to correct. I really don’t see why since they film so far ahear od air date. It must be hard to remember the season of the year for wardrobe!!
which is why I feel it’s not the actor’s fault, but the person(s) responsible for final script edititing. These actors have so much on their plate at a time, I can understand their overlooking something like this, but not the final script editor, whoever that person was.
I meant that a Kristen or Deidra (two who are so INTO their character) would have caught a mistake like that if it was there character.
Guy delivers the lines but after playing Will for a bit he would (correction SHOULD know) that his kid cannot have nieces or a nephew. But yea, why didn’t the scrip editor catch it or someone else is beyond me.
