I’ve really had enough of this character. She feels sorry for EJ that he has to go through this? He did it to himself. Kidnapped his own daughter to make Sami suffer. But poor Hope, stressed out and suffering a severe reaction to a prescription drug, she deserves to go to jail for 30 years or something.
I can’t wait for this character to disappear. They have really made a mess of her.
I used to dislike the Ari character (when they first decided to bring in the actress from Passions to play the role), but I have to admit, I’m totally a fan of hers now!
I don’t blame her for having compassion on EJ (somebody sure needs to be; and shame on Stefano for acting/lying as if he knew nothing about the kidnapping). Heck, some fans of the show act like Sami hasn’t done the same low-down, horrible stuff (and MORE) to EJ, and a host of other Salemites! She kept EJ in the dark about his own child (and with alleged-good-boy-and-absolutely-BORING-Rafe)! She RAPED Austin (some anti-EJ fans seem to always forget that little tid-bit when it comes to hating on him, and arguing why he and her shouldn’t be together)! She kept Lucas from knowing the truth about him being Will’s dad! Heck, with all the horrible things Sami has done, I’m surprised she isn’t on death row right now!
I’m soooooooooo not happy with the route the writers are taking this storyline! If you (or anyone on here) have a facebook account, go to the DOOL page on there, and read some of the comments regarding the whole Sami-EJ-Rafe thingy…You’d be surprised of how man viewers are so IRKED OFF about what is taking place! There’s soooo many anti-Sami/Rafe folks out there, that it’s crazy!…And I’m HAPPY ABOUT IT! It’s always good to know that some people see clearly.
I don’t think the writers ever knew what to do with Ari. That whole undercover drug ring was so dragged out and an absolute dud of a story – and even the payoff was limp.
Her relationship w/Brady was not that involving either – especially her rush to judgment about his falling off the wagon.
I did think she and EJ might have had a chance at something going, but by then I guess the writing was on the wall.
I can’t say I will miss her but not sure she got a fair shake on Days.I normally don’t get into these discussions, but I would believe that there are just as many ‘anti’ EJ/Sami folks out there, too. Sami has done some horrible things, and I think most of it stems from when Alan raped her. She always seems to be trying to get someone to love her or whatever. She will always be messed up unless she gets counseling and works through her past. This coming from someone who has been there, done that, though certainly NOT on this level!! There is no excuse for what either her OR EJ have done, and they BOTH deserved to be horse-whipped! However, I try to keep in mind that it is JUST a show and nowhere close to ‘real life’. It does not matter what the writers do, someone is going to be unhappy! I guess we could have her with Rafe one week, then EJ could have ‘visitation rights’ the next week!!
My comments had nothing to do with EJ/Sami or Rafe/Sami. They were totally about
Arianna. I don’t understand how she can feel sorry for EJ and think that Hope is a total criminal who deserves years of prison. I know you love EJ and can see no wrong in him but I just don’t get Ari’s point of view. What he did was wrong on so many levels and thinking he could build a relationship on a lie…well it just doesn’t work. As Sami has found out tme and time again.
I never said I was pro EJ/Sami or Rafe/Sami. I just don’t get why Ari thinks that EJ is to be pitied in this. If it was real life I would probably hate all of these people, LOL.
Arianna seems to be the character that forgets unless it affects her personally. She has no mercy for Hope because she was hurt by it, too, so she has to have someone to blame, can’t just blame drugs. As far as EJ, since he "believed" in her when no one else would, her sympathy sides with him against Sami, especially since Sami "hurt" her brother. As far as Brady & Nicole, she only hated Nicole for the trouble she caused her. I liked her at first, but she seems like a totally self-centered character to me!
I meant no harm…sorry! I was actually meaning to reply to ‘Bono’. I do agree that Ari is very misguided in this, though maybe HER ‘feelings’ get in the way of being rational!
I have never liked this character even when she was portrayed by the other actress. If she’s not bitter with a chip on her shoulder, she’s whiny and crying. I just can’t stand her.
because Lindsay Hartley can act. She is deserving of so much more than this pitiful out-house of a story-line she was given. The writing for Ariana has been one of the worst I’ve seen in a character, on this or any other soap, where the actor/actress does not deserve the crap she’s been handed and expected to make a likable character out of it. Characters like E.J. and Stefano, Sami, Nicole, Victor …. these are characters who, regardless of their bad-ass, vindictive ways, are respected and loved by many because the actors who portray them are legends. Lindsay was given a shitty role and forced to recite horrible dialogue, and wasn’t around long enough to be appreciated. I love Lindsay Hartley, and I wish her the best in obtaining a role, whether it be in soaps or otherwise, that will give her the recognition and praise she deserves because of the terrific actress she is.
