Just read the Days Ahead for today on Days Cafe.
Austin goes out to eat alone and runs into Abigail who joins him. He tells her it’s cold outside and gives her his hat. When he gets message that Carrie is on her way Abigail refuses to stay and as she’s leaving she looks back at him like a teenager with a crush. Later at the house she tells Jack and Jen she was alone then she looks down at Austins hat which she’s holding in her hands.
Don’t tell me she’s going to make a fool of herself by going after an OLDER, MARRIED MAN.
I don’t think we’ve seen a young girl going after an older married man for quite some time, if ever. Anybody remember anything? We’ve had the older man/young girl and the woman/married man but I don’t recall both in the same person.
If this is the case, I might just have to eat some big black bird and give the writers credit for something new.
But Doug and Juilie were in love before he married Addie. They were together then not then together as something always came between them, mostly pride. He married Addie but didn’t love her, can’t remember if it was to hurt Julie or for Addie’s money but I know Addie wanted Doug and we went for her.
wow that is a long time ago but they were always a couple. Maybe they were so good on screen due to their real life love of each other. When Doug married Addie we always knew he loved Julie. I still can hear Doug singing "The Look of Love". Dern I would love to see some of those old days shows again.
Was just coming on to post about this. I was racking my brain trying to figure out if they are at all related!!! Abigail’s Uncle Lucas is Austin’s brother but they only share the same mom, so Austin has no blood relation to Abigail. What an odd pairing, but it seemed pretty obvious that there was something brewing, esp after they told others that they were alone. What the heck!!!
Although I have to say, I wouldn’t mind Austin & Carrie splitting up (as long as she doesn’t end up with Rafe!) I’ve always liked A&C but not with this Austin. I thought Austin Peck had much more chemistry with Christie Clark than Patrick Muldoon does. JMO!
I thought maybe there was some history between Jen and Austin that Abigail was so vague about going out with Austin. I can’t remember all the past as well as some of you. If there isn’t, then what’s up with this meeting that she won’t tell Jen or Jack. Are they related in any way?
I actually kind of liked Abby and Austin today. I hate the fact that they are probably going to have rafe and carrie sleep together though.
Abigail fan in the world or even a little corner of it, but if Abby goes after Austin – then yeah! I’ve wanted a Mel and Chad pairing for a long time – I think where there is smoke there is fire and I just didn’t see it with "Grace’s mom – name escapes me now – the young chicky who went to Japan to dance and don’t see it with Abigail either, but with Mel, yes – I think those two have "possiblities"!
No history that I can remember except as DCola522 said, Austin is Abby’s uncle Lucas’s half brother through their mother so no blood at all. I don’t even remember them having scenes or a storyline together in the past.
on a talk show, I believe it was. It was after she stopped doing the newspaper with Jack, I think. It was a long time ago!
