Awesome event I was part of

Hello Salem Place friends! Some of you may recall my little friend Gary who was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma 2 and a half years ago. This past Saturday I was able to participate in a project known as Paula’s Pillowcase Project. When Gary was sick, he complained about the rough pillowcases, so his mom made him one to take with him when he was in the hospital for treatment. That spurred the idea of doing this for other kids in Children’s Hospital in Seattle. This is the second year she’s done it and the first year I was in Washington and able to participate. KOMO TV came out and did a very nice story w/interviews with Paual and Gary. I will provide a link if you’d like to watch. It’s short, but I’m sure you can see what a worth while project this is.
