Basic CPR for Salem Medical Staff

If you determine someone is in "Respiratory Arrest" as Daniel did Chloe, you have to breathe for them- not announce the fact along with the statement that she also has a "possible subdural hematoma." Then Lexie says "Take her to OR One"  Meantime Chloe is just lying there not breathing and no one (Lexie, Daniel, Carly or the EMT extras) is giving her even basic CPR (Daniel DID give one puff in the elevator shaft then stopped to bemoan Chloe’s injuries) Forget the OR, she is dead- not breathing and no one is taking action. I know this is  a soap and not real, but hasn’t anyone on the staff (especially the writers) ever taken a basic CPR course. But, hey, maybe one puff from Daniel is SO intense that he  doesn’t need  to give another magical puff and Chloe can just lay there not breathing for minutes on end, but sustained by the super oxygen of his love!
