I’m having this horrible fear, after watching the oh so very anticlimactic “resolution” of Bo not returning by throwing us the lame-o divorce bone, that we are going to be the recipients of the exact same crappola when EJ and Sami leave. I don’t think we will see anything exciting or creative whatsoever. I can’t hazard any guesses of what they might feed us but I’m thinking, more and more, that we’re not going to be happy with it.

That would make me sad but they really have not given us any reason to stick around and be glued to the T.V. From what I’m reading neither are any of the other soaps (I don’t watch any others but everyone seems to be ho hum about their respective shows.)

September 29, 2014 at 12:06 am #45419luckeyParticipantin a little different manner on the Annex Board several days ago. James Scott’s departure was made to sound like he just walked off the set one day to do other things. Alison Sweeney had already announced her departure before that. How could the writers know that JS was leaving to write something to coincide with AS leaving when they are almost six months ahead in the taping of the show…unless the reports of the JS departure are not true and the writers knew in advance.

Nowadays most women hold jobs outdiae the home and don’t really have the time to get into the "drama" of daytime cause they have thier own drama in their lives. Just one reason that soaps have become endangered species.
September 29, 2014 at 8:21 pm #45422PattiParticipantwhich will be October 9th or 10th; AS and kids will depart shortly after Halloween. It is still my belief that sometime during that 2-3 (maybe 4) week separation we will know if E.J. is murdered or if his death will be faked. I’m guessing and hoping for the latter.
September 29, 2014 at 10:28 pm #45428caseyParticipantbut with Susan predicting disaster does look like a murder coming. I cannot imagine Sami leaving believing he’s dead. Maybe it will be Sami thinks he’s dead like everyone else and at the last minute EJ will reappear and they’ll go off into the sunset. I don’t think Days wants their star Sami to depart in a negative state.
