Since we’ve all been chatting about the bad guys – EJ and Stefano – I was trying to think of all the good/bad people over my last 19 years of visiting in Salem (I know the list will be endless) but what about the blurred list – the folks that have been both good and twisted over the years?
My good/bad list is: Tony, Anna, Sami, Marlena, Susan/Kristen, Jack, Nichole (she was good once?), Mia, and I know there are a zillion and a half more…I couldn’t put John Black on the list, because I never saw any story lines where he was a bad guy, even though he was Stefano’s "pawn".
April 11, 2010 at 4:54 am #11948DeeLanParticipantDoug (he started out as a con man working for Susan Banning), Julie (she wasn’t too nice in her younger days),
Samantha (Marlena’s sister), Todd Chandler, Kimberly Brady (she was a prostitute at one time), Lexie, Eve Donovan,
Chelsea Brady, Lucas, Phillip
April 11, 2010 at 11:22 am #11949BonbonParticipantcharacters who were unequivokably "good." And I always found it strange that many of them were referred to on the boards as "goody two-shoes." I could never figure that out. Among them were Marlena, Belle and Jennifer. Of course there’s Mrs. H. (the quinessential "goodie" if you don’t count her tainted donuts) and, if you discount her affair with Neil, Maggie. I guess you could add Kayla, Joy Johnston, Adrienne, Shane, Tom and some of the other Hortons. There don’t seem to be many guys on the list. Am I forgetting any real "stand-outs"?
April 11, 2010 at 11:35 am #11950DeeLanParticipantCalliope and Eugene. I don’t think they’d know how to be a baddie.
April 11, 2010 at 12:12 pm #11951SWParticipantshe gave away her child (Jack) and I want to say there were other things. Maggie, I’m trying to remember an affair with Neil. I remember she had sperm donated by Evan Whyland and I thought Sarah was his although there could have been a sperm switch. Don Craig would have been a goody two-shoes. Kayla didn’t start out a goody two-shoes. She tried to seduce Chris K. when she was first on. Funny how now he’s her big brother, lol. Liz Chandler? – she usually played the damsel in distress. Tony was almost always good as when he was doing the bad stuff, it usually came out that it wasn’t Tony but Andre. He’s a tougher one to label because of that.

Notice, I’m not counting Siera Brady, since she was starting to show a dark side when she cut up Carly’s clothes, and from what I understand she will begin having other problems not too far down the road. Poor angel, blame your selfish, stupid mommy and daddy for that one Siera.
April 11, 2010 at 5:30 pm #1196053tdogsParticipantScuse me while I pick myself up off the floor and start my heart again…(that was way before my time!) I thought she was always good! Learn something new everyday…and nothing should surprise me about Salem.
April 11, 2010 at 5:43 pm #11961luckeyParticipantwith Neil Curtis. The sentence structure made it sort of confusing, but it was Maggie not Alice.
April 11, 2010 at 7:08 pm #11965SWParticipantbut it was with Tom. I believe there was a story about them not really being married at one point. They did marry again though! lol
April 12, 2010 at 2:29 am #11969majencoParticipantWasn’t Steve, Adrianne and Jack’s mother named Jo, not Joy?
April 12, 2010 at 9:03 am #11970SWParticipantin real life’s name was Joy.
April 12, 2010 at 11:32 am #11972BonbonParticipantSee what happens when you get old?
Joy is also Chloe’s little sister, right? I wonder when she’ll wander into town as a disturbed teenager.
