What happened to their little connection? I know that we don’t know if Bo is connected on his end to Hope (since we don’t see him in that way yet) but what about Hope? She always knew when "Brady" was in trouble. Why isn’t that shit working now?
Just thinking about that since Steve seems to have the connection on his end. Whatcha all think?
Hope said she no longer felt their connection. So I am interested to see if she gets it back during this stint of Peter’s return – for however long it is.
Hope’s connection is now with Aiden, and since she knows nothing about him being held prisoner, I can’t say that I blame her. She thinks Bo abandoned her and Ciara, so I can easily see, after 3 years, a disconnection on Hope’s part, especially since she has a new love connection. I just hope this short-term return for PR will make it all worthwhile, and not just another knight in shining armor return by Bo and then "poof, he’s dead!"
I’m willing to sacrifice the character of Aiden if Bo’s short term return results in his death. The only way I can accept an end to Bo and Hope is if he dies, ON SCREEN, with us witnessing it (and even that’s not FINAL in Salem.)
So he comes back….. saves Fancy Face, and ultimately dies. I’d be sad for Hope but as a viewer I feel as though I’d get real closure. I dunno – I’m hoping PR’s stint turns into something permanent.
I’m pretty sure Peter Reckell wanted that for the iconic Bo Brady, and I truly believe that’s what we’ll get. But, of course, he will save his Fancy Face from a fate worse than death (Aiden), one final time. Peter has still not signed a contract, and I truly believe this is what he had planned all the while before agreeing to return. I think Hope’s fate will wind up being Rafe, and I know you don’t like him, TFlo1018, but I would rather see Rafe in full detective mode alongside Hope any day than in bed with Kate Roberts!
Just reading that sentence makes my skin crawl.
I’m with you, TFlo, I want to see Bo over and done with…PERMANENTLY. Let’s do like they did to Rasputin, stab him, poison him, shoot him and draw and quarter him. Then maybe he’ll stay gone for good.
I guess what I object to is the need for Bo to be the hero and save Hope from her bad judgement. I never bought the idea that Hope was the damel in distress and had to wait on the sidelines for Bo to rescur her. I makes me annoyed that they portray her as weak and unable to help save herself. It anything Hope has always been strong and sensible except TPTB always made Bo as only one who can rescue her.
I also don’t think it was fair for Aiden to be the villain just so Bo can ride in, rescue and then die in the end ( if that is the plan)
I would PREFER for him to stay Bon – but if it’s short term then I want what I wrote. Give us FULL CLOSURE as a viewer. And yes Patti – I loathe RAFE!!! LOL. I think it’s more Galen that I don’t like b/c I didn’t like him on Passions for the short time I watched that. He just bugs me – and I find Rafe to be a bit "holier than thou." Pairing him with Sami was the final nail for me – he never appreciated her for who she was and wanted her to be something she was not.
I guess we’ll see how it turns out.
that Bo will be killed off. I don’t see him returning short term and not dying; that would leave Hope and this couple forever in limbo. Plus, from what PR has said over this long haul, I truly don’t believe he wants to be Bo full-time anymore.
If Bo’s return is simply a few months, I think this will be it for good. Certainly Hope deserves better. And I’m still not onboard with her and Rafe as a couple; it feels just too “set up” for me. Plus, if Hope loses both Aiden and Bo, how unrealistic for her to jump into another romance.
