Honestly I would have preferred an hour of Bo flashbacking to Hope NOT having fantasy flash forwards. I think when we see them kiss (even if the fantasy) it minimizes the real reunion. JMO.
Btw – why wasn’t Chase Aiden’s best man? And why couldn’t Abby just pull the rug to get the fork closer to her? LOL
November 5, 2015 at 1:03 am #49381jessad7Participantthis is the only way to give some of the fans a fantasy reunion. Even if Bo stops Aiden, or Hope stops Aiden or Caroline stops Aiden, for all I know, I can’t imagine Hope is going to be thrilled to see Bo. Too much "reality" has settled into their relationship. I was doing a lot of eye rolling today as Bo was telling Fancy Face how they’d never be apart again.
I was curious why Chase wasn’t Aiden’s best man either. Maybe so the show could do a bachelor party?
I didn’t notice the rug with Abby, but I was wondering for a minute if Bo was going to come to her rescue. She probably needs him more than Hope does anyway.

November 5, 2015 at 1:50 pm #49385caseyParticipanta forward fantasy scene it turns out not to be in reality anything like it. But still have to think if I were Hope and finding out my husband had been through capture and torture it would be hard for me not to forgive him and understand the situation. Maybe not instantly but eventually. Now whether the love and bond remains is another story.
November 5, 2015 at 1:52 pm #49386PattiParticipantI’d rather we didn’t have any. I read there would be tons of flashbacks to the real Days of old, but so far I’ve been disappointed. I guess you can’t do an entire show of flashbacks and living in the past, but I thought one a day during this entire 50th arc of each iconic character/couple would have been nice.
November 5, 2015 at 2:49 pm #49392BonbonParticipantI was yelling at Abby, “Use the peppermill sitting there dummy, it is big enough to reach the fork to move it over within reach.” At least they didn’t have her picking the handcuff lock with that plastic fork. Removing the knob was the sensible thing to do. Of course we all knew Ben would be right outside the door.
But, I have to say that Abby is really playing her part to the max. I love the was she is trying to placate Ben yet her fear is definitely showing through. Great acting.
November 5, 2015 at 2:56 pm #49395BonbonParticipantin the Korean war. After a couple of years after the war was over, she remarried and shortly after, they started releasing POWs from Korea and sending them home. Everybody would ask her what she would do if her husband came home, go back to him or stay with the present husband. She said she’d go back to #1 but I think in many cases, after that long a period of separation and falling in love with someone else, your love would fade from what it once was.
It’s certainly a dilemma I’d never want to be in.
November 5, 2015 at 3:18 pm #49400piewomanParticipantI believe in Illinois, one has to be 18 to be a best man and sign the license. My son tried to be best man years ago at 17 and he was told he couldn’t.
November 5, 2015 at 4:04 pm #49403PattiParticipanton the fork being bent back; don’t think you could do that with a plastic fork.
November 5, 2015 at 4:34 pm #49405justwonderingParticipantMy grandson was his dad’s best man a couple of weeks ago. He is 15.
Might depend on the state
November 5, 2015 at 10:55 pm #49407BonbonParticipantWhen she first saw it. it looked like plastic.
