Bo’s ghost story reminds me of the Christmas story that’s read to the children at the hospital. I’m so happy that holidays aren’t being ignored! Love it! I can’t wait for Thanksgiving/Christmas!
October 28, 2011 at 9:05 pm #28104PattiParticipantthe kids did a great job, too.
October 28, 2011 at 9:42 pm #28108caseyParticipantand that Days has gone back to acknowledging the holidays. It was fun to see those gorgeous costumes – didn’t Bo and Hope look sensational as pirates! – and I like how John was back to his spunky self by escaping house arrest to join Marlena.
October 29, 2011 at 11:33 am #28120BonbonParticipantwhat John did about the ankle bracelet? That would have ratted him out as soon as he left the apartment. Someone was not paying attention to details. I kept waiting for him to explain to Marlena how he got it off or disabled it.
I loved Bo’s story (and the pirate accent). It may have been a little too intense for the little ones though but I loved how they all screamed when the lights flickered. I thought it was Hope that did it, even though she denied it. Very cute.
October 29, 2011 at 1:00 pm #28132SWParticipantif he has 2 personalities – one that is almost ghost like that can & will do anything for a thrill and the old John? Marlena kissing him in public was really dumb too as that would immediately make me wonder if it was John. Once it gets out that he left the apartment, it indicates that he could have left the hospital that he was supposed to be in.
It’s also funny how similar the new writers’ stories are to what happened in the Salem series that Sheri Anderson wrote. There was a Bernie Madof type character there, a ‘stolen’ child, unknown family members, bail outs, etc. Check it out if you can!
October 29, 2011 at 1:26 pm #28140PattiParticipantbefore removing it; that’s why they showed the computer screen indicating a blinking light, which was the monitor, which he disabled. As for the guard, if they’re still in the penthouse, which would be on the top floor, I’m sure they should have another way out besides the front door. There must be a fire escape stairwell or some other way he could get out without going through the front door. Of course, he would have been caught if someone came to visit, but the whole idea of the temporary escape just goes to show that John’s skills are far from depleted, and his actions could very easily be a sort of cryptic clue on how he could have committed some sort of crime, but not remember it. Either way, the kiss in public was dumb, and even Marlena had to remind him that if anyone saw her kissing a stranger, it would definitely be cause for concern and give him away, and she would have been right, especially if E.J. or Nicole had noticed it.
October 29, 2011 at 11:36 pm #28161majencoParticipantDid anyone notice that Bo’s story about the man who was wrongfully accused and then hanged in the town square was a bit similar to John’s situation?
October 31, 2011 at 3:29 pm #28202cornbreadParticipantI totally agree with you Casey, that’s EXACTLY what I was thinking!
November 4, 2011 at 8:22 pm #2834753tdogsParticipantghostly story, some of those kids are gonna have nightmares! Everyone looked wonderful in their Halloween get-up, no homemade costumes there I’d say…all from the costume store, Salem just has everything handy!
