I am so tired of his stiffing all the time. And snorting coke. How could any person function if he’s actually doing as much as they portray him snorting and boozinb? Do neither one of them go to a job? Doesn’t anyone notice they’re not functioning? And Theresa just keeps egging him on. It’s been said, but it bears repeating – I can’t stand either one of them!
June 5, 2014 at 2:44 am #44107caseyParticipanthow long has this absoutely boring episode gone on? Just around and around yet nothing really happens. Does anyone actually enjoy the character of Theresa? What is her value? And Brady isn’t much further behind.
June 5, 2014 at 5:18 am #44108GoodyParticipantI am ‘tired to the bone’ with the character Theresa. I would be very happy if she left Salem immediately. Goodbye and good riddance.

June 5, 2014 at 8:46 am #44110BonbonParticipantI condemned Brady (the first one, Kyle) for both his acting and how the character was portrayed. Then the same thing with JJ. I thought he was a terrible actor and I hated his character and wanted him gone. And then, poof, they do a turn-around and I end up liking both of them.
So, as much as I currently despise Theresa, I’m going to have to hold off to see what they do with her. If they don’t redeem her, she can fall off the face of the earth as far as I care. But, I’m wondering if there might be a redemption when her sister Eve comes around.
There are some characters that we kind of enjoy as despicable and don’t ever expect redemption…Ann Millhouse, Kate Roberts…but Theresa is certainly not one of them.

June 5, 2014 at 2:16 pm #44118PattiParticipantwho in the hell works in Salem? For as much as Jennifer has been called out by that hag, Anne, for not showing up for work, seems to me Theresa should have been out on her can a long time ago. Where’s Kayla, anyway? This is what I hate about plot storylines. Never ever even close to resembling someone having and maintaining a job in the real world, and yes, I do realize it’s a soap opera; but, seriously, Theresa Donovan is such a losing character, I would not care one bit if she got fired and killed herself …. that’s how much I loathe this character.
As for Brady Black, he’s one hell of a man, isn’t he. I mean punching out his 60-year old father just because his father doesn’t want to see him throwing his life away? Another sickening character added to my list, and it’s getting quite long.
June 5, 2014 at 4:09 pm #44123bluebonnetParticipantthey had places of business as sets, such as Titan and Basic Black. Many of the story lines centered around things that happened at the office. And, remember those awesome suits that Kate used to wear? Not the mish-mash of fabrics and styles like she wears now, but beautiful, classic suits. I even miss the hospital scenes with Nancy, Mike, and Craig, but I guess they do have scenes at the hospital from time to time, even though they involve Anne, Theresa, and slacker Jenn. And, they show TBD, so at least Sonny and Ben are shown at work.
As for John and Brady, they both get on my nerves. I don’t like anything about either of them.
June 6, 2014 at 1:41 am #44126dvalParticipantit certainly lent itself to a much larger variety of storyline possibilities. And this nonsense of work just calls or texts you and you can handle it from wherever you are, come on REALLY? Even Abigail whose job is, well I don’t know what, can phone in her business? No wonder everyone is always in everyone else’s business…they don’t have anything else to do!
June 6, 2014 at 12:45 pm #44127caseyParticipantis characters being paired up with the same ‘ol characters. Nicole going from EJ (twice) to Brady to Dan and likely back to Dan again. Maybe the reason I’m seeing little actual romance is no new blood here. When was the last time we were excited about a couple? Remember how we loved the progression of Bo and Hope, Kayla and Patch, John and Marlena? What happened to epic romances?
June 7, 2014 at 10:24 am #44132BonbonParticipantOne of my favorites was John and Diana when they were in that cave (was it?) in Greece and were about to “do it” for the first time. Wow, talk about hot! And I’m probably one of the few that really loved John and Hope on the sub. I had to turn the fan on me for that one. And when Hope was married to Larry and she and Bo would look at each other with those longing, unrequited looks? Holy cow. Pure soap at its finest.
Do you remember Kayla and Patch on that very hot day on the loft’s roof? OMG, I was on the edge of my chair. You could cut the sexual tension with a knife. Why can’t they write like that anymore. Or, is it that we, the fans, have become jaded by all the graphic sex we have been fed? Maybe we’re just immune to it now.
June 7, 2014 at 12:38 pm #44134caseyParticipantwith this current generation all about sex and not courtship. Also instant gratification over slow progression. I’ll never forget Kayla removing Steve’s eyepatch or the classic Marlena and John on the pier. Where is that anymore? In 20 years will any scenes of the current couples be branded in my memory like those? I think not and that’s what’s missing.
June 7, 2014 at 1:14 pm #44137mommytutuParticipantThere’s no build up. To put it bluntly, the viewers want some foreplay. Instead we get a couple and within days they have sex. I’m not against the sex, I just want the show to have me begging for it. Instead I just ff through it because it’s so ho hum and who cares. I want to cheer my favorite characters on, not shake my head because they’re in the sack again with someone different.
June 7, 2014 at 1:22 pm #44138PattiParticipantMUST realize that there are certain writers that simply do not wish to write for certain actors, no matter how much they are missed. TomSell NEVER wrote the stories we are missing regarding J&M and K&P, and BOPE, well that’s explainable and until they get up off their assets and get rid of Bo Brady, we are all either going to have to get used to their current favorites or simply stop watching, so that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
June 8, 2014 at 10:59 pm #44143BrandyParticipantBelle and Shawn, because that’s when I started watching, and there were good stories with them, and Kayla and Patch, Philip, Chloe, Bo and Hope, etc.
Actually, I think it has since become a "dirty soap." To be fair, if anyone remembers, a year ago (or before) a bunch of fans were yelling for more "romance." Well, they got it, to put it mildly!
June 8, 2014 at 11:14 pm #44144BrandyParticipantWhat is her purpose on there? And why are they dragging out Brady’s addiction? Every time I see either one of them, it’s the same thing all over again. I’m getting tired. Brady is one of my favorite characters; why don’t they give him a better storyline? I wouldn’t blame him if he quits.
