Never cared much for Teresa but Jen L. has me believing every layer of Teresa we have seen.
She said her last two weeks of SL/scripts were great – and she wasn’t kidding. EXCELLENT job from her (more her than the material.)
Did she quit or was she let go? If she quit – wonder why. Hoping she does big things next. She’s quite the talent.
was leaving was her decision. Have to agree, her performance has been stellar. I also seem to recall she left the door open for a possible return (if Days lasts that long) which the SL appears to accomodate.

which only tells me that the writing for JL should have continued with her being written as the bad girl, the way she started when she came to Salem. Instead, they tried to turn her into the loving, motherly, gushy Suzy Homemaker type, and it simply did not work. I hated her and Brady as a loving couple to begin with. I think the actress saw it, too, and it may have been hidden somewhere in her decision to quit the show. She was constantly being blasted for her efforts by fans across every message board I’ve read. Unfortunately, soap writers don’t write to please the fans. They also don’t seem to know when they’ve spoiled a good thing. JL will leave and they’ll find someone else to ruin. Maybe you Claire Brady?
Ciera. She’s so dull. However, this would require a new actress because the current one just doesn’t have the chops to pull it off.
is an annoying and forgettable character. The best ones are more complex and most of the teens on this show are one dimensional and admittedly also victims of bland or boring/stereotypical SLs.
How interesting that characters we hate along with the actress, when they are leaving we finally give them their due rewards for their acting. They acted well all along and now we are acknowledging them as stellar.
I have always liked the actress who played Teresa. She played her part to perfection, scheming, manipulative, but when necessary showed a real heart and soul.
I agree in wishing her well as she is definitely someone who will be turning up again whether on Days or somewhere where her talent can be totally appreciated.So many people absolutely hated the character of Theresa when she was the scheming, manipulative shrew and then hated her when she changed but now seem to be sorry to see her go.
I also liked the character and the actress from the get-go and wish her well in her future endeavors, somewhere she can be appreciated for her talents.
I don’t have any use for Claire. She seems to be spastic. I was hoping Theo would want Ciera , not Claire.
