There goes my theory that the next Celebrity Apprentice would be either Penn or Clay. I really, really, really wanted to see Lisa go but since she didn’t throw one of her tantrums this week, there was no good reason. But, from the previews, she’s going to go off again next week…that woman MUST be mentally ill. And I didn’t want Dyanna (is that how she spells her name?) to go as I have come to really like her and think she has gotten a raw deal more than once. Anyway, I thought Penn’s slogan, "You’ve earned it." was a good one. What better way can one feel about one’s success?
And, I’m now thinking that maybe Aubrey should win the whole thing. She is certainly creative, can take charge, and has the drive. But I think they are trying to keep her in a bad light all the time, however, you’ve got to admit, like Arsineo said, "She’s almost genius." And she DID practically single-handedly handle that entire task. No, I wouldn’t be disappointed at all if she won the whole thing.
BTW, did anybody else dislike George last night? I thought he was way too negative and opinionated, especially about Aubury’s cityscape. He should remain more neutral.
April 23, 2012 at 12:51 pm #32591caseyParticipantGeorge was coming from – the way Aubrey was so arrogantly going on about how it was her show. I don’t debate she’s extremely creative, but I thought her skyline was a hot mess and wouldn’t have a clue what it was supposed to represent if it wasn’t explained to me. If only she made others a part of the experience she could well win.
I thought, once again, Clay aquitted himself well enough in the boardroom where one slip could have sent him packing. He did make a huge error by not including the take home packet. I felt this was his weakest task.
Dyanna, Trump sure loves her. Part of it you’d think would be the Miss Universe connection. I think she’s a dark horse not to be underestimated. I don’t see it being Teresa or Arsenio in the end.April 23, 2012 at 3:16 pm #32592luckeyParticipanthowever, she is doing it at the expense of others. Since the beginning, she has lied numerous times about the ideas being hers. Now, if someone thinks that is genius, my definition of that word is obviously not the same as theirs. For me, she’s a master manipulator and no one on her team has had the guts to call her on what she’s been doing when they get into the Board Room. Yes, she’s creative and aggressive; however, on last night’s project, she sent both of her co-workers away while she stood there and badmouthed them to Eric. I was glad to hear Eric bring that up in the Board Room, but she very masterfully sidestepped it and it never became a topic that anyone pursued. The Donald probably likes her because she’s a lot like how he handles business not really caring about who gets pushed aside along the way. Trump sort of chastised Clay for going for consensus making it sound like he doesn’t care what others think…only what he thinks. I won’t be surprised if Aubrey wins this.
April 23, 2012 at 5:04 pm #32594BonbonParticipantBut I think a lot of the editing is showing her in a bad light. For instance, last night when she said that she had come up with the slogan before Arsenio found it on the internet. They made a big deal out of it but I went back and watched and she DID say it first. I think things like that have happened frequently.
And you say nobody’s called her out on it. Ivanka did one night in the boardroom and Arsenio also let her have it another time. I think she has the personality of one who thinks that’s perfectly normal to take credit for everything. And it’s definitely the way Trump has gotten where he is so he probably sees that as a big strength in her.
I’d love to see it come down to Dyanna and Aubury as the final two. That would be interesting. (I think Dyanna needs other team members to succeed though so that probably won’t happen.) If Lisa goes to the end, I’ll probably put my foot through my TV…even if it is five feet off the floor!!!
April 23, 2012 at 11:22 pm #32604PattiParticipanthe’s TOO opinionated and Clay has that pegged about him. He is persistent as well as insistent where his ideas are concerned. He didn’t want the project manager’s job because this task wasn’t right for him, but it didn’t stop him from taking over, and when Penn goes on a roll, no one can get a word in edgewise. Clay tried to get some other ideas, but Penn once again decided Penn knows best. Well, this time Penn paid for it.
April 24, 2012 at 10:57 am #32608BonbonParticipanton Jay Leno’s tonight. I don’t usually stay up that late but I may record it. I hope it’s tonight and not last night. I think it’d be interesting to hear what she has to say away from the show. It might give us an insight into more what she is really like.
And, I’m wondering (because all the shows have already been taped and the winner determined) if maybe she DID win which is why she is going to be on Leno.
April 24, 2012 at 12:21 pm #32611caseyParticipantfinales done live?
April 24, 2012 at 1:09 pm #32612BonbonParticipantin front of a live audience but I don’t know whether or not that is taped. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. I thought about that.
