So, does anybody know who got fired last night? With the pres. cutting in, I have no idea. I fear it might be Nene, even though I applaud her for going off on Star like she did. Even though it was probably suicide for her, at least she had Star’s number and told it like it is. And I can’t believe Hope was such a puppet (as LaToya called her) to Star. That woman is just pure evil. I’ve never liked her and her actions on this show have sealed it even more tightly for me.
I tried to find something on the net about who was fired but couldn’t find anything. I guess I’ll have to wait until it’s rerun on Friday. Rats!!!
May 2, 2011 at 6:35 pm #23281BonbonParticipantHope was fired. Trump thought she has been flying under the radar for too long and that Nene and Star would be a formidable force and be more able to beat the other team.
BTW, if you didn’t see it, Trump took LaToya back for the men’s team (mainly because they had lost the dim-wit baseball player through no fault of their own). He said he’s never done that before and will never do it again but because she came to him asking to be reinstated, he admired that she hadn’t given up.

May 3, 2011 at 11:43 am #23288BonbonParticipantTrump really likes those feisty women (remember Omarosa!!!) and he sure has one in Nene and Star. Whew! Talk about strong, opinionated women! I’d love to see what kind of men they’re married to. I’ll bet they don’t have much between their legs, if you know what I’m talking about.
I’m thinking Star will win on the women’s side (I think she is probably the most "qualified") and John Rich on the men’s (who I think is the only equivalent to Star. But, between the two, I wouldn’t take any bets. Personally, I don’t care for either one.
May 3, 2011 at 12:47 pm #23291PattiParticipantNene and Star, and even Marlee and Hope, were extremely judgmental of her and I didn’t think she did a bad job. She just wasn’t as confrontational as the others. As for Nene, she’s a little too much of a ‘flip-flopper’. She’s with you one minute, and against you the next, like she was with LaToya. Star is Star, and she’s not going to change. She’s a ‘take-charge’ woman and that’s been very obvious from day one. I personally think Marlee will wind up in the finals, even though she doesn’t seem as aggressive as Star or Nene, but I’d bet if you rattled her chain too hard, she could go off on anyone. When she wants to make herself heard, she has no problem ‘speaking’ her mind. She might just be the dark horse where the women are concerned. As for the men, I’m getting a little tired of Lil’ John. He doesn’t impress me, but I do give props to Meatloaf and John Rich for both being good, solid players. Still, I’m not counting Marlee out to win it. Omarosa was a strong woman with too much of the wrong thing to say most times; I think the same thing will happen to Nene and Star. Still, the person who will win will be who Trump wants to win. There’s no doubt in my mind that this show is controlled by him.
May 3, 2011 at 1:41 pm #23295luckeyParticipanta few years ago; but, divorced within a year or so and I believe I read that he cheated on her. Not too difficult to believe seeing her controlling personality. This Nene gal is familiar to me, but I can’t place where her notiriety came from.
May 3, 2011 at 6:12 pm #23307BonbonParticipantI was convinced from the show Joan Rivers was on that Trump makes his choice and nothing will sway him from his decision. Remember how hard he tried to keep Dennis Rodman on? It was rediculous. I think he did the same thing with Omorosa and Gary Bussey, just because they evoke alot of negative "interest" from the viewers.
They do the same thing on Survivor…look at Philip this season, does anybody really like him. But then, they are both Mark Burnett productions so you can expect to see the same kinds of manipulations.
May 4, 2011 at 12:46 pm #23323PattiParticipantit’s not who plays the game well, it’s "what’s best for the show." That’s why reality shows draw people in. Everyone likes to sit back, tune in, and wait for the trainwreck. LOL!
