There would be one hell of a lawsuit against the television station for reporting Johnny had died. I see the plaintiffs being as follows:
1. Sami and EJ
2. All of us on SPMB who have to put up with Sami and EJ doing it again.
November 18, 2011 at 11:34 pm #2892953tdogsParticipantplastic bag on their computer desk? Why the h-e- double toothpicks did the cops, i.e, Roman leave even a small tiny potential piece of evidence of a kidnapping/murder with a parent? Doesn’t matter if they had the entire shirt, evidence is evidence is evidence…this stuff they do on this show just drives me up the wall!
November 19, 2011 at 12:12 pm #28939BonbonParticipantThen I rewound it and that’s not what she picked up. I think it was her phone but couldn’t see for sure.
November 19, 2011 at 12:12 pm #28940BonbonParticipantNumber 2 for certain! :o)
November 19, 2011 at 1:39 pm #28952caseyParticipantreporting the body was identified as Johnny. Really irresponsible “journalism” and wouldn’t they not put that out until the parents were notified?
November 19, 2011 at 1:43 pm #28954SWParticipantI could see reporters doing that just to be the FIRST to get the scoop. Dumb, but I could see it happening!
November 19, 2011 at 3:56 pm #28958IwovemyboysParticipantThe parents would be notified before anything. If you ever watch anything on the REAL news and there is a story like that, they will state that the name is not being released because the family needs to be notified. Complete and total BS! And on top of that what in the world would these two parents be doing waiting for the news to tell them what’s up. Especially when Sami’s dad is the head of police. Oh yeah that makes sense let’s let the news enlighten us!!!
November 19, 2011 at 4:19 pm #28961BonbonParticipantworth his/her position would NEVER allow that to happen.
November 19, 2011 at 8:43 pm #28971PattiParticipantthat releases the name of a victim before notifying next-of-kin. This was all simply part of the hype to give some writer(s) a reason for Sami and E.J. to comfort one another in the worst way imagineable, without giving any thought whatsoever to the consequences their actions will most certainly have if, or I should say when, this does come out. To me this is not creative writing, it’s just BAD writing.
November 19, 2011 at 9:13 pm #2897253tdogsParticipantin what was going to happen next and then it was din-din time for the pups (poor, poor starving doggies had to wait for DOOL to be over) and the dryer was buzzing.
November 19, 2011 at 10:02 pm #28974BonbonParticipantstaring me down because it’s two minutes to dinner time. I’ve never had a dog before that was so demanding for food. She starts staring at me and "woofing" about an hour before it’s time to eat. And when I feed her she acts like she hasn’t eaten in weeks. I’d think she has a tape worm but she’s not losing any weight. Goofy dog.
One time I decided to keep giving her food until she was full. She ate so much she threw it up. Then I felt bad. I forgot when they overeat they can get that thing where their stomach turns and it can kill them. Bloat, is it?
The other one looks at her food like she’s thinking, "This crap again?" And then will often walk away from it. I have to be careful that the vacuum cleaner (that’s exactly how she sounds when she eats) doesn’t scarf it down before I can pick it up.
November 19, 2011 at 10:52 pm #2897653tdogsParticipantagain Bonbon! LOL! I swear one actually goes "Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm – mmmmmmmm – good!" like the ol’ Campbell’s soup commercial when she’s got her nose buried at the bottom of the bowl eating; and then the other one just doesn’t even taste it, she just inhales her food. But they both look at me if I don’t add a small piece of chicken, ham, steak, bacon, egg, etc. – whatever I’m having for dinner, in the bottom of their bowls, like "IS this all there is Mom – just kibble again?!" I have friends who their doggie will not eat their kibble until after they go to bed…she will not eat in front of them, not the kibble anyway.
November 20, 2011 at 1:51 am #28979BonoSugaRayParticipantI think it was plot-driven…Bcuz in the real world – as you stated – they’d at least have to contact the parents.
November 20, 2011 at 12:07 pm #28981BonbonParticipantin front of anyone. If she has no choice she’ll try to go behind something, into bushes or tall grass, or she just won’t go. Shy kidney? I didn’t think dogs had that.
Sorry this is OT everybody.
November 21, 2011 at 12:48 pm #29000KseeParticipantYeah!, plot driven and very very bad writing!
