Are they going to make Chad & Will a couple? Is that where they are going with this?
May 7, 2010 at 8:24 pm #1277353tdogsParticipantAnd that’s all I have to say about that.
May 7, 2010 at 8:47 pm #12776PattiParticipantand that’s all I have to say about that.
May 7, 2010 at 8:56 pm #12778GoodyParticipantWriters, please don’t take these 2 guys into a storyline like that!!!!Goody
May 7, 2010 at 10:48 pm #12793BonbonParticipantIf they feel they have to have some gay characters, make them adults at least. Teenagers have enough to deal with in life as it is.
May 8, 2010 at 2:48 pm #12803mommytutuParticipantWhat makes you guys think Chad and Will are going to be in a gay storyline? Did I miss something? Not only that they’ve both been in love w/Mia.
That said, if the writers were really good, I wouldn’t have a problem with it. There are hundreds of teenagers who deal with being gay and having to hide things from their friends. It must be really hard. However, I don’t think the writers on Days are good enough to do this story. It would be as in and out as Theo’s autism, Phillip’s prosthesis, infertility storylines and rape storylines. They just mention it for a couple of weeks and then it’s over like a party that you plan for and then clean-up and it’s on to something new.
May 9, 2010 at 12:52 pm #12814caseyParticipantMuch less being “in love” with her. She’s as interesting as a snail (make that LESS) and better suited to Night of the Living Dead (check that too – even those zombies had more zip to them!). She serves no purpose for me whatsoever.
May 9, 2010 at 2:36 pm #12818mommytutuParticipantAgree, what a bore. No personality either. Aside from giving birth to Grace, what purpose did she serve after the baby switch story ended–none. Don’t like her change of personality either. That didn’t make her more likeable or more interesting. The only scene she’s had since she’s been on that was "good" to me, was when Stefano was in the hospital and he and Nicole told her to tell Chad she’d slept with a bunch of different guys in Chicago. I felt sorry for her and I thought she pulled those scenes off well. But, other than that–what a bore!
May 13, 2010 at 6:39 pm #12894jewelgalParticipantI wonder if it’s going in that direction…
I think it is. Having problems with their moms. Their moms don’t want them going near each other…they keep going to one another after being hurt by their mothers……it’s the perfect set up for this kind of storyline.
I SERIOUSLY hope they don’t do this. I feel like it would ruin the future for Will.
I also wonder if that’s why they replaced the old Will…..because they needed someone either more mature, with better acting chops (which this new one has), or someone willing to do a homosexual story line.
May 15, 2010 at 12:47 am #12915caseyParticipantI mean what two teen boys study THAT much together? Even without the gay possibility seems not normal to me.
May 15, 2010 at 1:41 pm #12920PattiParticipantI don’t blame Chad and Will for wanting to spend more time with each other than they do or did chasing after her. Mia needs to get on the bus and out of Salem, quick. And who is she to say that her and Chad are the only two who will remember Grace? Duh, you piece of cardboard, what about Sami and Rafe? And maybe if you, Mia, wouldn’t have sold your infant daughter to Nicole Walker for a dance career in Japan, you might have the right of a mother now grieving over the death of her infant. Chad and Will finally see you for who and what you truly are, and if they spend a lot of time together, it’s simply to remind each other of how lucky they are, yet how close they came to caring for a girl who deceived everyone, including them.
May 15, 2010 at 1:45 pm #12921mommytutuParticipantChad’s trying to figure out the relationship between his mom and Kate. I think the more time he spends w/Will the more likely they both are to discover that connection.
May 15, 2010 at 7:41 pm #12923GoodyParticipantto everything you said about the character Mia. Also remember that she had already planned to give up her baby to Dr. Baker long before she even met Nicole. Actually, she does not seem to be really grieving at all; it is just a way to manipulate others, when she does mention Grace. A narrow escape for Will, certainly.

I’m glad Chad and Will have gotten over Mia and now know what she was like. I remember the "old" gang – when they went to school dances and you actually saw them at school, (Belle, Shawn, Phillip, Chole, Mimi, etc.) – boy, that seems like so long ago…
May 16, 2010 at 4:40 pm #12925mommytutuParticipantChad doesn’t even know Grace. How could he remember her? He thought Sydney was his daughter. And last I checked, Will, Sami and Rafe remember Grace. They are the ones who loved her and cared for her, not Chad.
The more I see of her the happier I am to know that her contract has been terminated. She is such a Debbie Downer and so manipulative. The last thing we need is another version of teenage Sami.
