That’s why I find this whole storyline so ludicrous. So many people are making such a big deal out of this when it’s none of their beeswax…WHATSOEVER! Who died and left (insert name here) boss? You can use Sami, Rafe, Sonny, Chad, Lucas… The only one who has shown any sanity at all has been Victor.
I don’t agree that Gabby wanted the abortion, she was doing it because that’s what she thought Will wanted. And Will agreed to it because he thought that’s what Gabby wanted. Yes, extreme lack of communication but nobody can say anybody wanted the abortion.
And I don’t understand why this show always treats abortion as worse than the worst crime in the world. Yes, they can be pro-life but at least portray the other side of the coin also. In fact, statistically, more people are pro-choice than pro-life. I’ll never forget how badly they vilified poor Mimi for having one. People on this show can cheat, lie, steal, and even murder but, by golly, don’t ever have an abortion!
IMO, all three of them did what they thought was the best for the baby and I totally agree with their decision. People (men AND women) give up their kids all the time and go on with their life. Except that we know Nick is probably going to go to the dark side eventually, as things are now, the child would have a normal life with two loving parents. I don’t see that happening any other way.
One more comment, I think if we were to look into it, they ARE already married. Nobody has to "pronounce" them so. I had a lawyer tell me after our rehearsal that we were actually married in the eyes of the law because of what we, and the minister, said during the rehearsal. We didn’t question him so we started our honeymoon that night! ;o) But I’m sure they are going to leave it that way for the drama. Don’t ever let reality get in the way.

Some have you sign beforehand and some after. Technically I think there may need to be a ceremony of some sort, but I don’t think it matters at all what is said. I guess Father Eric could deny to file the paperwork or not sign it now if they haven’t already.

I wonder if Nick will follow through on what he said about getting married by a JP. If he is smart, that’s what they should do immediately. Then if it comes to a custody battle, they’d be on better grounds to fight Will (and probably Sami too).

There’s a lot of comments and different opinions that are on these posts.
Some of them seem rather harsh. I know these are just soaps and everyone has their own thoughts and ideas.
January 17, 2013 at 1:21 pm #37340dvalParticipantbut when my son got married last May, in a Roman Catholic ceremony, the paperwork was all signed at the rehearsal. Sort of a guarantee that it doesn’t get forgotten in all the rush after the wedding, I think.
I won’t ever forget it because my 3rd son, who was the best man, signed the wrong line (above his name instead of below) and the priest tossed a hissy fit and told the groom he couldn’t marry them because the best man signed the wrong line. Which of course was an over reaction and the township said it was no big dea, they would have accepted it. But he got a corrected license the next day but he got everybody all worked up over nothing. Fortunately the rehearsal was on Wednesday and the wedding wasn’t until Friday, LOL.

Andrew kidnaps Melanie.
Yes Gabbi knows Andrew has her. She did not actively participate in the kidnapping. She did not make Andrew light the lighter that set off the fire. Lots of people don’t tell what they know about crimes that were committed. All she has to do is prove that she was also in fear of her life from Andrew so she did not come forward. Her friends may turn their backs on her, but I don’t think they could file charges on her.
