I have to say, it is completely unbelievable to me that Nancy and/or Craig have not swooped in to help out their daughter. I know they don’t want to pay for those performers but they were both dedicated to Chloe’s well being and Nancy would never let her daughter suffer if she could help.
February 21, 2011 at 7:02 pm #2110853tdogsParticipantthey could have even substituted the actor’s they used before if they couldn’t get the originals. AND Marlena didn’t show up for Sami’s wedding (not that they could ever substitute Marlena – there’d be a riot with us fans if they did that)… You are so correct EllenKb about the family members being absentee at big events in the lives of the Salemites.
February 21, 2011 at 8:40 pm #21114DeeLanParticipantEven if they couldn’t get the actors they could at least mention they are there and have them in another room like they did with Mickey for so many years
February 21, 2011 at 10:33 pm #21116PunkyParticipantthis would be a good time to have Nancy come back. I’d love to see her take on Kate and sanctiMelanie.
February 21, 2011 at 11:11 pm #21117caseyParticipanthow Chloe is being more dressed down now that she has PPD? And this was maybe the first time I’ve seen her without makeup. Much more realistic and believeable.
February 21, 2011 at 11:39 pm #2111953tdogsParticipantthat Chloe for the first time looks like a frazzled real Mom with a newborn baby! Kudo’s for a reality moment writers! I even had smpathy for Chloe today, even though I thought Phillip is right, you don’t let your baby out of your sight these days for even a second. Let the waitress come to you Chloe to pay the bill, she’ll want her tip and you don’t have to leave the baby.
February 21, 2011 at 11:50 pm #21122BonbonParticipantRafe and Rafe2 are on screen at the same time. Film them from the back.
February 22, 2011 at 3:09 pm #21145PattiParticipantfinally hair and make-up considered the plight of the character and put her in the right hair, make-up and wardrobe. I was almost expecting her to take a header into the Salem River in a silk mini-dress cut down to her navel with 4" heels and in full make-up. I’m glad to see that someone on staff wised up enough to realize how ridiculous that would have been. And, boy, did Nadia pull it off. She is truly one gorgeous woman, even when seeing her with no make-up, and the girl had JEANS on. Way to go to whomever is responsible for the realism. All I can say is it’s about time.
February 22, 2011 at 7:16 pm #21150bluebonnetParticipantleave her this way and reserve the full-on makeup and dress for very special occasions only. I thought she was much more beautiful going makeup-bare with casual hair and clothes.
February 22, 2011 at 7:27 pm #21151MKParticipantShe looked so different to me without the makeup! She didn’t stand out so much. She looked as a tired mother would look. Her eyes looked so much smaller without all that eye makeup on. It’s much more realistic and I too hope they leave her this way but they won’t. She’ll be back to her tons of makeup and dressy dresses in a couple weeks I bet.
February 22, 2011 at 8:02 pm #21155justwonderingParticipantIt just goes to show what a natural beauty she is!
February 22, 2011 at 8:14 pm #2115753tdogsParticipantabilty much more now seeing her take her role seriously instead of being in model mode all the time. A few years back Hope was sick in the show and she went without make up and it made the scene so much more believable. True actresses don’t rely on the outside but their acting ability. Even Sami has worn minimal makeup before when a scene called for her to be stressed or ill. These are all beautiful and talented actresses.
February 22, 2011 at 8:57 pm #21158majencoParticipantMuch more realistic and she still looks incredible.
February 22, 2011 at 10:16 pm #21161PattiParticipantthe thing I can’t swallow for today was Chloe listening to one vile, deceitful thing Kate had to say to her today. She’s Philip’s mother, for cryin’ out loud, girl, and you know she would do anything to get her hands on your kid. Instead of throwing those pills down the drain, I so wanted her to dial Daniel, right in Kate’s presence, and let him know what Kate was saying to her. Oh, well, Chloe never was the sharpest knife in the drawer, but that would have put a stop to Kate’s AND Melanie’s dirty little plan. I find it so frustrating when they write *hit like this. I know the woman is going through severe depression, but she even told Kate herself that Daniel would never give her anything to hurt her or Parker, so the whole ‘they will turn you into zombie girl’ theme was ridiculous to me.
February 22, 2011 at 11:28 pm #21163caseyParticipantthis stupidly is extremely annoying. That this girl is so easily influenced by those she should know better and the writing so inconsistent (one scene Chloe is giving it to Kate that she’s onto her, the next minute she’s totally gullible) that it’s not to be taken seriously.
Once again, a good concept to tackle – PPD – that could be powerful and enlightening is reduced to this kind of dribble. -
