Not like we didn’t see this coming:
April 15, 2010 at 3:29 am #12080Ms. JakeParticipantWOW!… So what can become of this? It’s not like Chloe can become pregnant…neither one wants their significant other to find out???? So what was the purpose ? What do the writters have in mind?? That they still have unresolved feelings for each other?
April 15, 2010 at 3:30 am #12081DeeLanParticipantWanna bet Chloe ends up pregnant for real. Miracle of miracles, like that hasn’t happened before.
April 15, 2010 at 3:36 am #1208253tdogsParticipantwhat to have and to hold, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, forsaking all others, ’til death do you part means anymore because they haven’t written ANY couple like that since the old "Days" – I’m not talking about Tom and Alice, Julie and Doug or Marlena and John…heck fire – the last couple to sail into the sunset forever (literally) was Sean and Belle. I watch the show for the happily-ever-after, the show is my grown up fairy-tale…It’s very sad that they can’t give us one couple anymore that means it when they say "I’ll love you forever"…now they just change who they are saying that to three months (or less) later…
April 15, 2010 at 1:46 pm #12109PattiParticipantotherwise they would see what a bunch of untalented people they are who can’t ever come up with enough creative imagination to even make a storyline unpredictable. Everyone with half a brain could see this one coming a mile away, and still they went with it. It’s like watching musical beds.
April 15, 2010 at 8:04 pm #1212353tdogsParticipantpreggers – and she’s been with Daniel and Phillip – then, it’s another "who’s the daddy story!"
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh, hurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrl, ralf, gwack, gagggggggggggg and oh nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo…..
April 16, 2010 at 1:45 am #12141DeeLanParticipantThe writers don’t know how to do it any other way.
April 16, 2010 at 3:56 am #12145BonoSugaRayParticipantthat’ll be a good idea! picture it: chloe and philip promise to keep thier little sex-a-pade a secret, and then all of a sudden, chloe finds out she’s pregnant!…dan thinks he’s gonna be a daddy again, but chloe and philip know that there’s a great possibility that he’s NOT the father. eventually, the truth will come out that philip’s the father, and then dan will know that chloe slept with him! that will then give melanie the go-ahead to divorce philip (without feeling sorry/bad) and rekindle her love with nate!
April 16, 2010 at 4:04 am #12146DeeLanParticipantYup, we know if that happens and there’s a chance it’s Phillips he’ll be all over it like EJ was when Sami was pregnant with the twins.
April 16, 2010 at 8:15 am #12149PunkyParticipanthoping that it is a dream sequence and that they are simply tempted. I like Chloe with Daniel. I think if the writers are doing this they want to put him with Carly to make way for Bo and Hope to get back together. They need to make Carly a stronger character before I give a hoot. It is all about her being scared of Vivian. *yawn*
April 16, 2010 at 5:05 pm #12175DCola522ParticipantI can’t believe they are giong to do this to Chloe and Daniel. After everything we had to endure with her & Lucas and what a horrible pairing that was… we finally got to see Chloe happy with Daniel… for what, 5 minutes? Now at the first sign of a problem, she hops back into bed with an ex?? Come on!!!
I wish just once they would show us some nice love scenes between characters who are in a committed, loving relationship… not just the sordid ones between forbidden lovers. So frustrating!! We saw so many passionate love scenes between Chloe & Daniel when she was cheating on Lucas… now that they are engaged and happy, they act like nothing more than roommates. Boo!
April 17, 2010 at 2:22 am #12185GoodyParticipantwhat is wrong with the people in Salem? Don’t you think instead of jumping into bed with the first available person, they should try to talk to their partner and get the truth about what is happening?
I didn’t think Philip felt so insecure about anything.
Trust and fidelity are unheard of in Salem.

April 17, 2010 at 5:48 pm #12209DeeLanParticipantPeople not talking just assuming is the one thing that’s bothered me about soaps for years. I remember when Julie was burned when that stove/oven blew up and had scars on her face. She knew what was best for Doug and cut him out of her life at that time. You could tell she was hurting and really loved him but she wouldn’t talk to him and let him decide. Same thing when Chloe was hurt in that car crash and had Brady believe she was dead.
April 17, 2010 at 7:41 pm #12210justwonderingParticipantActually, I feel the this SL is very true to life. Couples today don’t have staying power. The first bump in the road and they are lamenting their terrible life and ready to break up. After all Daniel is WAYY too old for Chloe. He has an established career and life and Chloe says that being Daniel’s wife is enough for her!! She jumped into this relationship much too soon, right after she dumped her husband Lucas–who was her rebound from Brady. As for Daniel, he just inherited an ex-lover and a daughter, and he feels responsible for both. Along with this, he has far more in common with Carly than with Chloe.
As for Philip—he jumped into his relationship much too quickly after being dumped by Steph. Melanie, who is at least 8 years younger than Phil is reeling from her breakup with Nathan. Even thought she is suppose to be a "street wise" chick from France, she can’t stand to be alone. Actually no one in Salem can, especially Sami, EJ, Bo, Hope, Nathan and Steph. Even Ari and Brady are rushing. What ever happened to courtship?
Bottom line–none of these people are ready for a mature, committed relationship.
