If Nathan is suggesting Chloe might have a sex addiction, (and is this just based on his knowing about her one time w/Phil?) why isn’t it the same for Phil?
May 21, 2010 at 12:39 am #13036DeeLanParticipantI"m sure he also knows about her having an affair with Daniel while being married to Lucas.
May 21, 2010 at 3:19 am #1304553tdogsParticipantan entire six months – Nathan knows it all – that’s how he diagnosed Chole so fast…without any tests, lab work, in-depth analysis…wow – I wish my doctor could do that!
May 21, 2010 at 11:25 am #13048BonbonParticipanthe didn’t suggest she had a sex addiction. He sugggested sex "therapy." I don’t think you necessarily have to have an addiction (if there actually IS such a thing as sex addiction) to benefit from sex therapy.
I saw two doctors on The Doctors debating whether or not sex addiction is an actual affliction. They both had a lot of good points to support their opinions. But either way, I don’t believe Chloe is a sex addict. Mental problems, yes, and did she really believe that her and Daniel’s one visit to a therapist was going to cure everything? OMG! Add dilusional to her list.
May 21, 2010 at 12:53 pm #13053PattiParticipantand she’s proved it over and over again. She is a negative of the girl she used to be way back when. Well, get over it girl. You’ve had four fabulous men in your life and you’ve managed, in one way or another, to screw your way through life, literally, with all 4 of them. Maybe that’s why Victor hates you so much. Maybe he has a right to his feelings after all. With Chloe’s looks and body, she could have it all and still wouldn’t know how to hold onto it. She’s a mess and I always find my hand on the fast-forward button whenever her scenes come on. The writers are trying my patience with this character.
May 21, 2010 at 1:12 pm #13055caseyParticipanthalf the world would be candidates for sex therapy. It kills me how society these days is labeling/excusing bad and selfish behavior for some newfangled medical afflication.
May 21, 2010 at 2:14 pm #13056mommytutuParticipantChloe has always been in need of some counseling. Personally, I’m not a dr. but I’d diagnose her as being bi-polar. When she first came on the show, she was depressed and sad all the time. Remember she always wore black and was very shy. Then she came out of her shell. When she had her car accident, she went back into that shell and even insisted that Nancy tell Brady she was dead. Then she’s all healed and life is good. The flip side is this risk taker who has sex with Lucas in an elevator, marries him, cheats on him with Daniel, becomes hysterical over Carly and her own ability to have a child, then sleeps with Phillip. This is not a sex addict, it’s a disturbed woman who needs to get counseling and be diagnosed so that she can receive medication that will help her.
May 21, 2010 at 3:03 pm #13059DeeLanParticipantDidn’t Michael Douglas come out a few years ago that he was a sex addict and went to therapy for it. I think there was another celebrity that used that excuse also. Whatever’s the new rage in Hollywood catches on and everyone wants to have it.
May 21, 2010 at 4:19 pm #13063BonbonParticipantDavid Duchovney (sp?) did and went to rehab.
May 21, 2010 at 7:28 pm #13065DeeLanParticipantI was going on what I’d read years ago. Michael Douglas’ first wife said he was a sex addict. When he went to rehab for drugs several years ago it was rumored that he was also seeking treatment for sex addiction.
But we all know what they say. Believe half of what you read and none of what you hear.
May 21, 2010 at 7:53 pm #13068Ms. JakeParticipantSex therapy??? What??? Chloe just made a bad choice…she was vunerable, tricked by Vivian, and in the company of one gorgeous very tipsy Phillip….who was lonely and felt rejected as well. Recipe for a quickie!! Hey…Nathan’s no angel!
May 21, 2010 at 9:02 pm #13073caseyParticipantI think it’s time for a new psychiatrist to come on board.
May 21, 2010 at 10:14 pm #1307453tdogsParticipantMarlena!
May 22, 2010 at 2:46 am #13076macrrParticipantHe doesn’t know who she slept with, does he?
