Chloe’s baby

That it took her after the paternity test to figure out what happened. But then no one ever accused Chloe of being the brightest tool in the box. And that she has waited now how many months to not tell the bio mom? When was she getting around to that?

 to give the baby up to Nicole, but when she saw that Nicole brought Deimos with her, I’m betting she’ll hold back on telling Nicole the truth, because, as I stated in another post, Chloe now hates Deimos and she is now well aware that they are getting back together, so she might withhold the information about the child being Daniel’s.  We’ll see but so far I like the sl.

 but is she going to have any "legal" right with Daniel being dead before Chloe got pregnant.  I can’t see how, as, unless I mentioned in another post, there was some sort of executed surrogacy agreement between Chloe and Daniel that we don’t know about either.  And why not, we didn’t know about anything else about this until we saw the flashbacks.  I still can’t beieve Shawn Christen came back to do those, but I’m glad he did.

could be interesting. The only mention I can recall about the agreement between the parties is Chloe said she could try the implant as many times as she wanted.
Chloe remember said from the first she couldn’t afford and didn’t want to raise a child at this point. But all that could go out the door if she starts on a warpath about the potential role of Deimos as father. IF there was no legal agreement could get messy. But would hospitals even go ahead with this othwerwise?

 I don’t presume to know the laws, but I would assume that if the donor (Dan) is deceased before the child is even conceived, and there is no written agreement between the donor and the surrogate, the child would legally belong to the birth mother.  I think there’s a law that even when a surrogate gives birth, she still has the right to refuse to give up her baby when it is born, but it has to be done within a limited time period, especially when no money changed hands.  Although, admittedly, I’m not sure about that one.  Personally, I think Chloe will come around at some point and either give the baby up or maybe have to fight Deimos and Nicole in court for the child.  Ugh…another pure angst sl for Nicole, any way you look at it!

Chloe had an embryo implanted (from Nicole’s egg and Daniel’s sperm) but it wasn’t successful.  Several other embryos were frozen for possible future implantations.  Chloe had a second embryo implanted at some point after Daniel’s death, without telling Nicole.  Before getting the results of that implantation, she ended up having sex with Deimos.  She just assumed that Deimos was the father until the DNA test showed that he was not, and then she realized that it was Nicole & Daniel’s baby that she was carrying.
