Okay I have to say something about Chloe’s wardrobe. I know she is beautiful and all but her clothes are getting ridiculous. Every single day, no matter where she is or what she’s doing she is in heavy makeup in a tight low cut and short dress! I cannot for the life of me think of another character on the show that constantly dresses like this. I mean Sami wears a dress to go out, or at home a sweater and jeans or even a sweat suit. Even the younger generation like Melanie and Stephanie wear jeans or pants on occasion. She is so pretty and would look great in jeans and a top or a nice suit or skirt. Who goes out to buy milk in a skin tight dress? Also, she has no job to speak of, she was doing something at the hospital a while ago, not approriate attire for a job anywhere. I just wish they would let her look more natural once in a while.
Her way to mask her insecurities, like saying look how bold I am on the outside? Or part of the sexual “addiction” angle brought up by Nathan? It’s not just the low cut, ultra short, ultra tight dress, but I notice she wears a lot of bright colors too.
If it’s not that, then shame on Days because it then appears simple sexual exploitation to me and a ratings ploy.It’s very common for women who are really insecure to dress to the hilt. I think subconsciously they feel if they always look their best, people won’t notice all the blemishes!
Yeah I was thinking it might be an insecurity thing with her. I mean I’m not against wearing a sexy dress out to dinner or on a date but every day? It’s just very distracting. I would like to see her wearing pants or anything casual just once!
we’ve all noticed her blemishes – and they are all on the inside – this woman needs some serious couch time (without Daniel or Phillip)…some times the prettiest package hides something awful inside.
the actors have to do with their own wardrobe selections, but I have always felt that Nadia was exploited because she is so extremely beautiful, not to mention, well-endowed. Then, maybe she likes to wear bright colors and skin-tight dresses half-way up the wazoo … who knows. I have always felt the same about Mary Beth Evans (Kayla), but in reverse. They dressed that poor woman like a Quaker most times and I used to think, ‘does she really like the way she looks’ or are these strictly part of the job to accept what wardrobe selects. I know that some of the bigger stars, Susan Lucci for instance, has a great deal to say about her wardrobe selection for AMC.
And she often posted that she thought the dresses she wore bared too much of her cleavage. She knows she’s well endowed and has a hard time keeping the girls under wraps when they put her in those revealing dresses. I don’t think she has much choice in what she wears. It is exploitation, much the same as when we had the guys constantly running around without their shirts on. I guess they figure sex sells. What would really sell would be some decent storylines.
I heard this from someone "in the soaps business." Do you know why they show the men without their shirts so much? I’ll bet you’ll say because the girls like to see them, huh? Nope! It’s to attract the gay guys to the soaps. Surprised? I was.
I think Chole is soooo beautiful!!! and those big Blue eyes! Yes, they do take advantage of her great body. Don’t we all wish we looked like that! Too bad they don’t showcase her singing talent on occasion. Doug’s Place would have been the ideal format and Maggie’s place hasn’t been on in so long I forgot the name of it!!!
So she isn’t the one pushing the low cut dresses? Oh well it looks like it’s just a ratings ploy although men don’t seem to be their main demographic.
