What a joke that Claire is auditioning for this prestigious music school. I know people who have tried to get in – talented, accomplished students – and a pop singer with just a passable voice is hardly among the worthy.
BTW, interested to see if tomorrow is Eve’s last day, how will she exit so abruptly? Will it be a confrontation with Belle?February 2, 2016 at 12:46 am #50690PattiParticipantfor Olivia Rose Keegan (Claire). She wasn’t completely horrible, in that she was slightly better than the Toytown performance she gave in HTS, but no way is she Julliard material, and shame on Eve for making her think that she is. As for Eve’s exit, I think it will be very underwhelming and she will simply leave Salem when Belle makes her feel like whatever tomorrow. Belle will probably also accuse Eve of trying to use Claire as her substitute daughter for Paige….just the same way Justin did….and that may be exactly how she will see it and simply decide to give up the program altogether. Of course, it will probably cause Claire to distance herself even further from Belle, but that will be Belle’s fault to begin with. Yes, tomorrow is still showing as Eve’s last day….at least according to Kassie DePaiva’s twitter account.

It’s kind of like a cross between folk and country and I’m not really fond of either. But she did stay on key and I think she did well technically. Although I don’t have formal voice training, I did, at one time long ago, sing with the then-famous Bell Telephone Choir. (You have to be at least 60 to remember that one.)
February 2, 2016 at 7:14 pm #50699justwonderingParticipantI was thinking the same thing. Her voice isn’t bad, but it is not my style of music. I would like to hear her sing something more main stream or traditional. She voice has potential, Id even like to hear straight country!
February 2, 2016 at 11:14 pm #50700majencoParticipantI thought she had a nice voice. It isn’t amazing or powerful but it had a nice tone. Quite frankly I thought she sounded better than Chloe ever did and everyone always made such a fuss over her.
February 2, 2016 at 11:26 pm #50701caseyParticipantvoice types and styles but Nadia for me has the far superior technique and range. But differing tastes are what makes the world go round.
February 3, 2016 at 4:17 am #50703justwonderingParticipantNadia has a very poiwerful operic voice, far different than Claire.
February 4, 2016 at 12:34 am #50705majencoParticipantAgreed everyone likes what they like but Nadia while certainly able to carry a tune, has a thin sounding voice. I am probably biased because I am in a rock band but I was just never impressed with her voice. Either way, both are perfectly competent singers. Just a matter of preference I guess.
