Comments for Tuesday’s Show – 05-14 ….

Abbey and Chad are adorable together. Glad they left the door open for them, because I just can’t seem to like her with Cameron, no matter how much they prop them.

Stefano truly looked shocked and p.o.’d when Kate made her big reveal about her and Rafe. That tells me he had absolutely nothing to do with the beating, as I expected. I don’t know who he stared at the coldest — Kate when she admitted she and Rafe were lovers, or Sami when she asked him if he had anything to do with Rafe being beaten. Or, maybe it was the drink just before he sent it crashing into the fireplace.

E.J. made that cryptic call, which Gabbi will probably mention to Hope during her investigation, but I’ll be betting he had nothing to do with the beating either. He may have been calling someone to go after Nick, though, if Sami told him about Nick attacking her.

Speaking of Hope’s listing E.J. as a suspect just proves what a Salem cop she is. First of all, E.J. already admitted he knew Rafe was bringing him the FBI jacket for Johnny. If he left the Pub, tracked down Rafe and beat him from behind with a pipe, did he also do a quick change before he met up with him in the alley? The attacker had the same color shirt on as Nick (which admittedly she didn’t see); but the shoe print she found had a waffled or diamond patterned soul and heel, as in a tennis shoe, Hope, and you know the clothes E.J. had on, plus, I suppose you think E.J. beat the hell out of Rafe from behind, then left the jacket behind; yeah, so how does that make you look now, detective dufus!

Sometimes Gabbi emotes very well, and then there are days like yesterday. Who barges into a hospital room while your doctors are trying to resuscitate you; however, I did like her scenes with Kate. Boy, she’s really trying to score points with Rafe. Just recently she was trying to get Gabbi to sign a contract giving Will back all of his rights to his child.

Sami, it was nice of E.J. to ask you if you wanted to sit with Rafe given your concern, but Kayla should have asked for Gabbi’s permission before she allowed you go into Rafe’s room, since you are no longer his next-of-kin, ex or no ex.

Another horrible display of Cameron’s medical skills. Paddles were poorly placed and the nurse completely missed Rafe’s face when she placed the oxygen bag over his mouth and nose. It just looked insanely stupid.

Sonny and Will had more concern for cross-examining Nick than they did for Gabbi’s or Will’s baby, even though it was obvious to everyone in the room that she was overwhelmed at the thought of Rafe dying.

Does Will wishing Rafe “comes back the same” mean he won’t? Will he have amnesia or think he’s still married to Sami. Ouch!

Sami, please change that outfit and do something with that hair.

Other than that, I managed to enjoy yesterday’s show.
