Kass was absolutely right when she told Woo he’d have a better chance against her than Tony. While I admire Woo’s integrity code, then there’s being just plain stupid. You’re there to win the prize and he had no chance against Tony. Woo came off to me as very wimpy.
Meanwhile Spencer’s speech to the jury was dead on. Tony was a player and given he did it without winning an immunity challenge was impressive.
When are these contestants gonna learn you’ve got to take out the big kahunna when you get the chance? The only case where this didn’t work was the infamous Russell Hanfs. But then he was just over the top nasty.May 22, 2014 at 3:21 pm #43876PattiParticipantTony played the game exactly the way it should be played. What I did NOT like was him swearing on his wife and child, and then reneging on his word. I don’t think I could ever do that. I really hoped that Spencer would have won, but Kass was right, because he was the only one who could go. Kass had the immunity necklace and Tony still had one or two immunity idols, so Spencer was left with “only man out” choice to go home. I respect Tony’s win, but I’m even happier that Woo didn’t choose Kass. Congrats Tony …. game well played!!!
May 22, 2014 at 4:01 pm #43881MKParticipantI am so happy that Tony won! I liked him from the very beginning. I couldn’t believe that Woo took him to the finals but was glad he did. Woo seems like such a decent guy. I liked when he said that he wanted to choose somebody who was deserving to be there in the end (not Kass). I admire that. And I loved Spencer’s speech. Talk about a stand-up guy. You could tell how hard he took it when he was voted out and to go up in front of everybody saying that Tony played the best game, was so awesome. A terrific end to a terrific season!
I only wish the reunion shows had less commercials. Seems like there’s barely enough time to talk to everybody and I don’t think Jeff did.
May 23, 2014 at 9:24 am #43892BonbonParticipantFor the first time ever, I didn’t watch Survivor but I did record the entire season. Is it worth watching or should I just delete the whole series? Was there anyone or anything that was a stand-out or different from all the past seasons? TIA
May 23, 2014 at 1:25 pm #43893caseyParticipantI did not watch last season’s. But this one kept me hooked. Winner Tony is one of those memorable characters like Boston Rob – the puppet master type. The season began divided into Brains Brawn and Beauty which was different. No survivor island which was nice. And instead of final three, it was back to two in the end.
I would encourage you to watch if you have the time.May 23, 2014 at 5:10 pm #43898BonbonParticipantthe rainy season, when the dish goes out. Then I will have something to watch as the DVR still works. Last year wasn’t bad, just a couple of times for a couple of minutes but it isn’t so frustrating when you have something else to turn to.
