and what a sight – the mass of fans crowding the 18th hole and Tiger fighting back tears. His adversity was the best thing that could happen – he is so much more humbled and appreciative now. He’s had a super unlikely comeback and almost won the FedEx standings. He’s still the man and the best thing in and for golf.
He had gotten so arrogant I couldn’t root for him. Since his return I find myself standing up and cheering. I cried when he sank the putt on 18 today. You are absolutely right in saying he’s the best thing for golf.
I had to LOL when they asked how he felt coming down the hill at 18. "I just didn’t want to get run over."
but understand that he went through a lot, and his career paid for it. We never know what’s in store for us, but I have always been impressed with how he played the game, so I am extremely happy for him and happy to see his successful comback. Congratulations Tiger!
