I noticed yesterday that when Hope (Bad Hope?) asked Ciera if she would like to have Justin be her new daddy she had on very vibrant reddish lipstick. When we saw her today (good Hope?) was wearing almost nude lipstick. So is that how we can tell which Hope is appearing at the moment?:
Perhaps Hope is having a reaction to one of those sleeping pills,you know, where they warn you side effects could be doing things for which you have no memory afterward?
Days Cafe has a speculation that it might be the meds or mind control. I hope it’s the meds and we’re done with all the sci fi mind control, micro chips, cloning and rising from the dead stuff. Doc Baker doesn’t count as we did have that finger twitching clue to tell us there was a possibility he wasn’t really dead.
isn’t he suppose to show up again soon? Now that the cat is outta the bag, can’t see what the threat of him is – he can’t hold anything over Nicole since everyone already knows what she did… He didn’t have a connection to Anna, so it doesn’t help Rafe…I’d like to see Dr. Baker again but I don’t see where it would go with him.
I don’t think any medication would cause such a drastic side effect. I think (as someone mentioned previously) it will be an aftermath of having all those crates fall on her head. I mean, what other possible reason would that scene have had other than an explanation for Hope’s altered mental state?

It may be a sign of the times; i.e., economically using one actor to play two characters means only one payroll item (see Y&R with two look-alike stories going at the same tme). As to why Hope has an altered personality, I’d say it’s due to the stress resulting from demise of her marriage. But definitely… Hope’s appearance (lipstick & hair-do), voice pattern, body movements and lack of memory (telling Ciara about Justin being possible daddy scene) means we are seeing a split personality. Surely, we can predict where this is going based on previous story-lines. The girl portraying Ciara is getting a varied acting experience what with the kidnapping, parent separation, Carly moving in, and now Mom having a secret life (thank heavens she has her imaginary friend).
But no accent this time. Maybe Hope is prone to alter egos/multiple personalities, and the stress of Bo leaving her for Carly has pushed her over the edge. What I cannot figure out is why is she stalking power players in Salem to attack? Will Bo be the next one when he returns? Maybe Carly will be the one to come to her aid when it is uncovered that she is the attacker. I hope it is Bo is rescues her after realizing his stupidity.
