The usual jerky Salem PD. What are they doing arresting the Di’s, rejoicing, and announcing this “gottcha” deal when Rafe2 hadn’t even sung a note yet? And pouring all that chain gang into the same cell as Rafe?
You just knew Dimeras always slither out of trouble.July 20, 2011 at 12:19 pm #25315bluebonnetParticipantJust once, I’d like to see the Salem PD get something right. Bo acts all cocky (especially yesterday with the DA) and for what reason? He screws up more than the doctors at the Salem hospital. Those doctors either perform miracles or make mistakes a 5-year-old wouldn’t make!
July 20, 2011 at 12:28 pm #25316PattiParticipantand Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso should stop immediately with the praise about their stories being front-burner and exciting if this is what they intend to have us watch. They are making fools of themselves by praising this writing if this is the intent of the new writers when they take over. I know a lot of tweaking has been done to this faux Rafe storyline leading up to his death, but it was not enjoyable in the least for me to watch, and I can only hope that the new writers will put an end to the incompetence and degrading, bumbling antics of the Salem P.D. Otherwise, I can see the rotten tomatoes heading straight for them. This is not how I want to see Bo and Hope continue to be portrayed, and the actors shouldn’t either.
July 20, 2011 at 3:39 pm #25323mommytutuParticipantThe Salem PD is a joke. I could send my 3 kids to do a better job. R2 is suppose to be in solitary and the jail is so full, it’s the only place they can find to put 4 prisoners. What a freakin’ joke! I will say I think this is still the old writing, untweaked. Oh what crap! And really, Bo and Hope gloating before they have an official statement, how on earth could they arrest the Dimeras before R2 gives up his story? This show better get better fast, because if the current show that I am having to endure is going to be par for the course, I may have to take a break and get a real life.
July 20, 2011 at 4:56 pm #25325VikieJParticipantNow really??? did you think they were going to put EJ and Stephano in jail…..they had to get out of this someway…..the Dimeras CAN"T go to jail…… LOL
July 20, 2011 at 7:30 pm #25326bradysgmaParticipantWas that the Salem Police Department or the Keystone Cops. Unbelievable!
July 21, 2011 at 12:15 am #25334powerpaw2ParticipantSalem is apparently so well known worldwide that it is known simply as Salem, USA, but their jail is so small that they can’t find a way to keep a high priority prisoner in solitary?
July 21, 2011 at 1:34 am #25335cjwestParticipantWhy can’t Stefano and Elvis be arrested for kidnapping Rafe. He remembers the kidnapping. I know the cell downstairs has been removed but it is at least more than nothing.
July 21, 2011 at 1:52 am #2533753tdogsParticipantSalem after all …it’s all done with smoke and mirrors and convenience for the writers…at least the old writers. For the new writers and their SL’s, believability remains to be seen in the fall.
July 21, 2011 at 3:40 am #25340DeeLanParticipantIf I remember correctly I think that was mentioned and it was brought up that it would be his word against theirs and with their lawyers and as slippery as they are with the DNA that Nicole had being gone they need something concrete.
July 21, 2011 at 4:35 pm #25344PattiParticipantyou make Inspector Clouseau look like Sherlock Holmes. You break bad with the four horsemen of the apocalypse AFTER one of your brilliant cops puts them in with the creature, who is supposed to be in solitary confinement and under witness protection in the first place, then brag to everyone that you have the DiMeras right where you want them before realizing your witness was offed by the same men that one of your own put in his cell, and then wonder how this happened. Hmmm, seems to me what we have here is a ‘failure to communicate.’ Here’s a tip …. the next time you tell the criminals who just had your one and only witness permanently silenced that when you find out who was responsible, that they will be prosecuted "to the fullest extent of the law," — please remind yourself who and where you are FIRST. THEN you can think about taking the "Kick Me" sign off your back.
