All these stars are getting so good I just don’t know who should win. Several of the girls in the group dance were outstanding and looked every bit as good as the pros.
I’m not that impressed (wasn’t when he won either) with Emmet but think Kirstie should go tonight but, if not her, then him. However, being a football player, he has so many fans that probably won’t happen.
I have to say, with the exception of Man, I Feel Like a Woman, and Ride a Horse, Save a Cowboy, I was less than impressed with the music. But then, I don’t much care for C&W music anyway. It just seems that this year they are trying too hard to use current music but it doesn’t fit with the dance. I would have liked Val and Kelly much better if they had actually danced to a tango, but then, I guess there’re not too many C&W tangos.
I enjoy the dances so much more when they play a waltz for a waltz, a tango for a tango, etc. Especially hate it when they try to do a 3/4 dance to a 4/4 tempo. I just don’t get it.

I think she will go home tonight but would not be surprised if it was somebody else. Kelly and Val had the lowest scores so they could go and I am hoping they will. As everyone knows, I do not like Kelly at all due to her personality or lack of one. I get no enjoyment whatsoever in watching her dance. There is no genuine-ness coming from her; no warmth. As an actress, she can’t even act the part in her dance. It’s as if she’s just going through the motions. She’s not feeling the dance and I think that’s important for making the dance real and powerful. Usually if someone’s feeling the dance, then I’m feeling it, too (if the music matches the dance). Maybe this doesn’t make sense to some but it’s the best I can explain it.
Loved Louis and Sabrina’s rumba. It was beautiful and emotional. I thought they had some real chemistry last night. I loved how some of the dancers were expressing their well wishes to the people on the East Coast. I live in the Boston area and thankfully, we were spared the worst of it. Some very high winds and power outages but nothing too bad here.

I can’t even imagine doing the things with my body that she’s been doing with hers and she’s a bigger woman than I! Technically, she should probably be the one to leave. As for Kelly, she always has this blank look on her face with no emotion projected. I liked the remark that Louie made during the group dance rehearsal when she and Val were all over each other and Louie said, "get a room". Cheryl seemed really bummed that their dance didn’t get the best reviews from the judges. She and Emmett ruled the dance floor the first year they performed together. Now, the competition is really tough. I’m still voting for Melissa and Tony because I think they do exceptionally well and it’s Tony’s turn to take the trophy after all these years. Gilles is certainly not the quiet, shy guy he was in the past. I’m not liking this more agressive side of his personality. He’s a good dancer though. Sabrina is so wanting to win this and since she was voted in by the viewers, she just might take it. I would be happy for them too with Louie having been around a long time too…and Sabrina is a great dancer! Apolo and Shawn didn’t get rave reviews from the judges either, but did a good job. It will be interesting to see how the voting comes out.
