I was starting to think my hearing was beginning to be the "first thing to go." LOL. But, you could be right. It seems it’s more pronounced when she’s flustered or down on herself about something, and the lisp is simply a part of her acting out her frustrations. I’ve never heard it when she’s on The Biggest Loser or any of her many commercials or when she appears as a guest on another show, so you’re probably right in that it’s some sort of method acting she feels she needs to use.
throttle speed with all of her projects and shows and it’s begining to tell in her acting…something’s got to give sooner or later…
Allison has been on is that she seems to be almost over-acting. Her laughs are loud and boisterous and she seems to be exagerating her expressions and dialogue. I would have no way of knowing this for sure, but it seems like she’s doing a lot of ad-libbing. I get the feeling that the guy who plays Rafe is a little lost at times of where she’s going with the scene. Maybe it’s just me, but it hasn’t been very pleasant watching Allison play Sami this week.
She is very annoying to watch. It gets very boring when she is on several times in a row. That seems to be happening lately.
I like the softer side of Sami, especially with Rafe. When she’s over-the-top the way she seems to appear lately, in both her acting and her reasoning, it makes people cringe, and I have to say that she’s brought my shoulders up more than once in the past couple of weeks. I don’t know why, but she appears nervous with her acting lately, like maybe she knows something we don’t; but, if we can notice it, the director should be noticing it as well ….. unless, of course, she’s directing herself, in which case…..nevermind!
