I don’t remember seeing any spoilers about Daniel and Jennifer heading toward some kind of relationship but I’ve seen remarks here about it. I really, really, really, don’t want to see that and am hoping instead that maybe Jen will become a very good friend to him and help him either get over, or go back to, Chloe. (Maybe they can exonerate Dr. Ben and bring him back for Jen because I though they looked quite good together.)
And then there’s the problem of what to do with Carly. It would be a logical step to put her with Daniel but, again, I’d rather have him eventually get back to Chloe (because I think in the end, Parker will end up being his son), but…that leaves Carly out in the cold…and we can’t have that happen. Hmmm, is it time to bring in a new male character? I think so.
February 26, 2011 at 2:25 pm #21276PattiParticipantMissy and Shawn. I, too, am wondering what’s up with CC? Seems she’s really been put on the back-burner; however, I’m guessing we’ll see more of her when Melanie’s new drama comes to the screen. I did read that Missy just got her hair cut (thank God), now I just hope whoever is dressing her takes off their blindfold.
February 26, 2011 at 3:02 pm #21279caseyParticipantgirls on this show and not enough guys. That’s what for me is lacking in relationship storylines. They keep doing musical chairs with these couples. Days needs some new male blood!
As for Jenn and Dan, how often have we seen this bantering back and forth lead to something more? Jenn was supposedly planning to play matchmaker for Dan and Carly. Don’t know what will happen.February 26, 2011 at 6:57 pm #21282shadowParticipantwhy Carly has to have a man. Since she is supposedly such a "good" doctor, why doesn’t another hospital(far away) offer her a job she can’t refuse. But we know she won’t leave Melanie(she’s got to be around to meddle) and she will want to cry on Daniel’s shoulder every chance she gets.
On a positive note from me – I have always loved Jennifer. I love the character and I think Missy is an excellent actress as well as being a beautiful woman. She just seems to have a sweet spirit about her. I’m not sure she needs to get involved with Daniel. He will hurt her in the long run if they should get together.
February 27, 2011 at 12:20 am #21295BonoSugaRayParticipantI personally don’t feel that every single character on the show NEEDS to be in a relationship. Look at Roman Brady…The guy has been cruising through these last x-amount of years, as a single man! But if the writers just HAVE to eventually plug iCarly in with another guy, maybe it should be…ummmm….BRADY! or worse yet, have the writers return the Jack character (doesn’t have to be played by the original actor), and hook ’em up together?!
February 27, 2011 at 1:10 am #2129653tdogsParticipantbe only women that they have to keep paired up. They even married Vivian off right away to Victor. Other than Maggie being single because of the grieving period for Micky – every woman on Day’s is either paired up, will be paired up, getting back to her "pair-up" or in-between pair ups…
February 27, 2011 at 1:42 am #21298powerpaw2ParticipantSeems like when they want to bring back Jennifer, it’s because Jack has done something stupid. (Or did I imagine this?)
February 27, 2011 at 1:55 am #21299BonoSugaRayParticipantNope. I think you’re absolutely correct! The Jack character has never, in my opinion, been a "bad" guy…Sure, he’s made some "dorky" decisions in his time, but nothing that warranted Jennifer hittin’ the highway every single time. Ugh.
February 27, 2011 at 1:56 am #21300BonoSugaRayParticipantlol You may be right, 53tdogs! But I still think Roman is way overdue for a romance. lol
February 27, 2011 at 1:58 pm #21302SWParticipantdorky but good type guy. I may be wrong but, I seem to remember a Jack (not played by MA) that raped Kayla. So the character does have a history of not being a good guy but when they changed actors, he changed (famous KC words- the character is going in a different direction).
February 27, 2011 at 10:58 pm #2130553tdogsParticipantFay – they always seemed simpatico. Poor Roman, always a "bridesmaid, never a bride", all those almosts! At least the almost marriage to Kate ended up "well"… remember that one??? Whoooooooooboy!
February 28, 2011 at 1:45 pm #21306PattiParticipantwhen they brought back Anna, but once again the writers and I were on a different page. No surprise there!
February 28, 2011 at 2:44 pm #21308BonbonParticipantJosh, himself, just isn’t interested in pairing up with anyone. He may have some valid reasons he’d just like to stay "single" on the show. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. And I’m not implying anything here so don’t jump all over me.
And, like we say for the women, every man doesn’t need a woman in their lives (as illustrated by several women in our group alone), could it not apply to the men also? Maybe Roman is just content with his job and his family.
February 28, 2011 at 8:13 pm #21312SWParticipantenough to justify putting him with a woman in any type of relationship. They’d most likely have to bring on someone new and they only seem to want to hire the young newbies these days. Just a guess though.
February 28, 2011 at 8:55 pm #21313majencoParticipantThe Jack that raped Kayla was played by Matt Ahsford. He was quite the scoundrel at first before he morphed into a more comedic dorky character.
