I don’t blame you one bit; I’ve wanted to wrap my hands around JJ’s throat and just squeeze; however, putting your hands on that 17-year old minor child of the woman in the room with you was yet another “no-no” in my book. You should have just told him AND his mother to both get the hell out of your apartment, with explicit instructions to never, ever, darken your doorway again —- and mean it with all your heart. Then send the mother a bill for a new door. It’s time to end this couple NOW. I’ve had it. Whatever happens to Jennifer is her own doing, and you can sit back and say I told you so. The writers have milked this forced couple long enough; it’s time to end it.

August 27, 2013 at 2:16 pm #40901dvalParticipantHe didn’t choke him, he didn’t throw him across the room, as I remember the scene he didn’t touch his body at all, he just grabbed his shirt. There was nothing done TO JJ, just his clothing.
As for the rest of this, as I posted on another page, this trio is just boring. There is no parent for JJ at all, just a mealy-mouthed, whiny little broad who can’t figure out that she is being manipulated, even when her son calls her horrible names for kissing a guy. And she brought that situation on herself by asking for the “secret” relationship. And then she blames Dan for this mess? Sorry Daniel RUN don’t walk, even if it is back to Chloe at this point.August 27, 2013 at 2:30 pm #40902PattiParticipantI said that’s what “I” would like to do to him; Daniel did put his hands on him though by grabbing him by his shirt and holding him while shaking the hell out of him. JJ also had Daniel by his shirt. Doesn’t make it right on either part; but, Daniel is the adult and JJ is a minor, like it or not, and he should have had more control, IMO. Just show them both the door, once and for all!
August 27, 2013 at 5:44 pm #40905dvalParticipantI would be more inclined to agree on that point if JJ was 12 or 13, but he is 17 years and how many months old and closer to being considered an adult than he is to ever being considered a minor. If Daniel had punched him, or tossed him or even slapped him I would feel differently but all he did was grab his shirt and give him a lecture.
JJ isn’t afraid of anyone and that is his biggest problem. He needs to learn to have a healthy fear of someone, anyone and that certainly isn’t his mother. She is his doormat.August 27, 2013 at 5:49 pm #40904bluebonnetParticipantthe minor vs adult point you made, Patti!
August 27, 2013 at 11:32 pm #40909jessad7ParticipantNormally I’m just bored with this couple, but today, I almost felt bad for him when he was talking to Maggie. He’s obviously exhausted, frustrated, sad, all the things you feel when you’re in a bad relationship. Why is everyone shoving down their throats how they belong together when they so obviously don’t? Just because two people are "nice people", doesn’t mean they belong together.
I also agree that he shouldn’t have put his hands on JJ. Daniel should have kicked him out for speaking like that in his home and also used some choice words, but Daniel is supposed to be the adult figure here, not on JJ’s level.
