    Wow, Days cleaned up in the Emmy nods with a whopping 27 nominations!
    Strange this year, as it hasn’t been the strongest IMO.

     then I can understand it.  All 4 soap operas could use new writers; even the great long-time first place soap, Y&R, needs a boost in its storylines, and has for quite a while now.
