Anybody else watch the final show?  OMG, I cried my eyes out.  Now THAT’S the way to end a series.  I loved the way they wrapped up each person’s story and didn’t leave anything hanging to "decide for yourself."

I loved that series and will really miss it. And, I agree that the finale was very satisfying–no funny stuff or mystery to leave us wondering about. Well, unless you count the woman who moved into Susan’s house. Do you think they were setting things up for another series along Wisteria Lane? If they are, I haven’t heard anything about it. I also thought it was a nice touch with Karen speaking about cancer at the end. I know that actress had cancer in real life, but don’t know how she is doing. She looked good, though.

The actress was on Harry’s Law and looked really good.  Love that show and will miss it.  Sure wish they would cancel some reality shows and keep dramas.

she started out on West Wing and they killed her off.  Many people said at the time it was a mistake but once you’re dead on primetime, you pretty much stay dead.  At least she got the part on DH.  I like her.

BTW, did anybody catch Patrika Darbo (Nancy Wesley) on DH Sunday night?  She was fitting Vanessa William’s wedding dress.  She hasn’t changed a bit.

It was good to see her. She pops up on shows from time to time. I would like for her (and Craig) to return to Days. Nancy always provided some comic relief.

that was the concensus with the rest of America on most of these shows.

I did watch all of Pan Am because I grew up in that era, but the pilots were a bit hokey as most pilots (especially then – speaking from all the pilots in my family), because most were WWII, Korean War veterans and in early 1960’s they would have been in their fortys or older.  All the young pilots were fighting in Vietnam not hired by major airlines for the most part.

I thought CSI (which I’ve never watched because I don’t like murder and mayhem) was a big franchise and long running – surprised it went off the air.

Alcatrez, I watched three times (because I live in Cali). but it was boring.

Awake, once or twice because the premise was interesting but became boring.  Harry’s Law was good because of K. Bates, for awhile but it became too preachy.

As for the rest of the shows – never heard of them, didn’t care to watch – drivel, especially that GCB.  Good shows like M.A.S.H., Law and Order, Gunsmoke, (I’m dating myself now), House, and of course, Desperate House"fraus" (as I like to call them) all stayed on for years and years because they were good and well written – not this mindless, insulting and boring crappiola that they have on the air sometimes now.

I think that CSI-Miami had run its course.

Awake is a great show, but too cutting edge for network TV. This show was unique in premise. I think it would be great on SyFi.

Harry’s Law was the second most watch show on NBC, but was popular with older peopl and not with the demographic thst counts with advetisers.  Guess they don’t understand that older folks make and spend more money than the 18-40 crowd.

"Face it, girls. I’m older and I have more insurance." — Evelyn Couch (Kathy Bates), to the young smart alec women whose car she’s just slammed into — repeatedly — after they stole her parking space and said "Face it, lady. We’re younger and faster."  Tooooooooo bad the PTB don’t understand that we oldsters have a lot more money than those young folks.  Mommy and Daddy can cut off their allowance but we still have our bankrolls (such as they are).
