don’t these people just walk away from these idiots when they go on a diatribe like Kate did today? Same thing with Carly and Viv. But, nooooo, they just stay there and take the abuse. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
I was thinking the same thing today. And Carly taking those drugs today. GEEZ. And gulping all the pills at the same time. Seems she never learned her lesson.
Most normal people would tell the loons where to go and walk away.
I don’t really get why they showed Carly taking the pills since she went on to rehab. Any thoughts on that?
to begin with, and the warm reception she received when she did finally return there, I was less than impressed with Carly’s scenes yesterday, simply because Carly Manning is well aware of Vivian Alamain’s contempt, hatred, jealousy for her …. call it what you will …. yet she stands there and takes that crap from Vivian yesterday, right there at the nurses’ station, no less, without even the slightest bit of doubt that what Vivian was telling her was even true to begin with. Then Viv shoves two red horse pills into her hand and leaves (which could just have easily been poison). Then later she runs into Quinn at the Pub, slaps and curses him, runs out, pops the pills given to her by Viv, and then goes straight to re-hab with Mel. So, I guess my question is, why even give or take the pills in the first place? Just thought it was dumb.
As for Kate, I think her prolonged use of the blue hair dye has affected her brain’s capacity for remembering who she is, where she came from, and that it was a DiMera who almost killed Phillip. In any case, the whole scene with her pontificating with Chad yesterday over her belief that Stefano would die without him was laughable. Then she pounces on Abigail, blaming her for Chad’s decision to leave. Right, cause that will change his mind, right Kate? Kate, wake up (or not) … you’re hallucinating …. "WE" DiMeras DO NOT EXIST. Run, Chad, before Morticia and Gomez really get their claws into you.
If things aren’t going Stefano’s way, he’s on his death bed. If everything is working out the way he planned, he’s stronger than an ox! Kate’s a $itch!
First of all, an addict doesn’t have (or use) much reasoning power. She was in pain and relief was right there in her hand. What difference did it make if she took them, she was on her way to rehab anyway. I just hope they ask her when was the last time she "used."
I’m not sure about this but I believe you lose your license if you become drug addicted. Not only that, she was stealing drugs from the hospital too. That should also count towards a license being revoked. I hope they don’t try to tell us that because she is such a good and beloved doctor there that they will overlook everything.
She would have her license suspended by the state with ordered rehab for her behavior- then there would be hearings and if the board agreed you had done appropriate rehab you would get a provisional license with restrictions (like where you could work and your access to drugs) and supervision. The boards are generally pretty careful, but do allow forgiveness after lots of work. But in the real world there would be criminal charges and perhaps jail time. And firing! The hospitals now fire anybody who LOOKS at a medical record if they do not have a right to, let along falsely changing the record- That would call for immediate police involvement. Lots of Drama there, that would make a good story. I once saw a nurse arrested for practicing medicine without a license- (she was doing Liposucton in her doctor-boyfriends office) and she did jail time and did NOT get her license back
most of these addicts use right before entering the facility, so I don’t think it would be unusual for Carly to take those pills. Though I do think that whole scene was over the top.
who’s been trying to kill Carly since she returned to Salem. That sure might stop me from taking them.
