I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Jacoby Jones IS the best male star. His and Karina’s Rumba was superb last night. Think what you will about his silly faces—the man can DANCE! I don’t think he even realizes how good he is.
If Kellie Pickler doesn’t win this whole thing, there’s not a damn cow in Texas! I haven’t seen a flaw in her dancing yet, although I did see a couple in Zendaya’s last night.
D.L. and Wynona need to give up the hope for the votes. Sooner or later one of them is going home, along with Andy Dick, who was horrid last night. And stop crying, Andy — you’re not as bad as D.L. or Wynona, whose best is still their worst.
What was that WMCA thing Shawn and Pita did last night. Where was their cha-cha? C’mon, he’s cute, but fair is fair, Len. There wasn’t a cha-chas step in the whole routine.
I thought Lisa and Gleb did a very nice Viennese Waltz last night — better than the others even. Zendaya looked like she was trying to ‘take-off’ with those arms, and Aly was good, but I thought she put too much "gymnastic" in her steps for a Waltz, and it made her look a bit awkward for my taste.
Ingo was the only one to do a pasodoble, so he got away with all that clomping around last night. Hard to watch a big man do the paso. Looks like he’s going to fall on her and crush her.
I like Victor Ortiz — he’s improving more and more each week, and for him (a boxer) to perform contemporary was a feat in and of itself. I thought he did a nice job.
The way these votes are going now, with facebook and twitter included, it’s hard to tell who will be going home each week. Just hope my boy, Jacoby, stays in it for a while longer. Just needs to take it a little more seriously, though.

However, after watching Monday’s performances again and comparing the two, I have to say that at least D.L. was able to move his body more than Wynona was able to. Not that there was that much difference, but D.L. did do more actual whole-body dancing than Wynona. I’m very much a fan of Wynona and voted for her since the beginning and wanted so much for her to go further, but it just wasn’t what the judges and voters wanted.
I’m wondering about the fact that we’re now back from last year’s all-star show where everyone had their past dancing experience with them and now onto the original premise of the the show of no experience that the viewers are actually going to vote more for someone’s ability instead of their popularity. I would be happy to see that.
April 3, 2013 at 4:01 pm #38991PattiParticipantbecause the judges have really been cruel to him; but, to be fair, he was better than Wynona and Andy this week. I was glad to see they saved Lisa, because she did a much better job with the Viennese Waltz than either Wynona or Andy did with their dances. Poor Andy, he tries so hard to be sexy, and every time I watch him I can’t think of anyone else but Woody Allen. LOL!.
Yes, Bon, I agree with your comments on the Annex page about Jacoby, and don’t know why he keeps insisting on making those silly faces either. It’s keeping a really good dancer from being likeable, and the more people try to tell him about it, the mroe he does it. Last night both Karina and Brook mentioned smething to him about it, in a kind but critical way. Maybe he’ll take the hint if he watches the tape from last night, and leave the comedy attempts to D.L. and Andy.
I loved that Jacoby and Zendaya got to be king and queen of the prom, but I really thought it would be Kellie. Zendaya is very good, but Kellie is the best female star, IMO, and I really think, barring injury, she’ll win it. Not only is she a fabulous dancer, but she has the personality to go with it.
