I am soooooooo disappointed at the elimination last night! I didn’t watch most of the show but when I turned it on to see Sabrina and Apolo up for elimination, I thought it was a joke. I realize it’s all-stars and there are a lot of really good dancers, but Sabrina and Louis were the best last week and this week (and I’ve always loved her dancing). She got the highest scores and most of them were 10’s in the past two weeks. I really loved them and Sabrina is a fantastic dancer and her spirit is amazing. She really loved to dance. I was so looking forward to what they would come up with next. I don’t usually get that upset over a show but she went too early. She may not have made it to the very end, but to go home before Kirstie, Emmitt, Kelly and Melissa is ridiculous IMO.
Kirstie should have gone home. There is no way she is of the same caliber as Sabrina. Or puss-face Kelly who looks like she doesn’t even want to be there (and was at the very bottom the last two weeks). I can’t even stand to look at her non-enjoyment. Or Emmitt who has not been doing that well. It’s all about the fan base and I should know that by now but I guess you just can’t help the way you feel.
I know, I know, it’s only a show! and I know that it’s a popularity contest and that the person who wins is not always the best dancer. I’m not going to watch this season anymore because I won’t enjoy it. I have plenty of other shows to watch. I will continue reading your comments on it though.

Maybe some of it is because of Maks’ fans. But it was certainly an injustice. She even thought she was going home.
I will still watch because I enjoy so many other aspects of the show but, IMO, they really need to come up with a better way of voting. This is sooooo unfair and I think they are going to start losing a lot of viewers.
October 31, 2012 at 4:04 pm #36201luckeyParticipantit was the viewers’ votes that brought her onto the show in the first place. When they started the elimination process last night with the lowest by judges’ scores, it really got interesting as they went up the ladder and all the lower scoring couples were safe. I was shocked that the top three per judges’ scores were the last three standing! The looks on the faces of Sabrina and Louie just broke my heart. They said there won’t be an elimination next week.

And I agree that the voting system itself is unfair. Maybe the judges’ scores should have more weight. I don’t know. I’m just sick of the show right now. And with the many ill-fitting music selections for the dances and the 5 minutes of commercials after 3 minute show segments, I won’t miss it one bit. The show’s a joke especially after what happened last night.
October 31, 2012 at 9:35 pm #36209PattiParticipantwhen the last 3 to score the highest according to the judges’ votes were the bottom 3 in the audience votes was horrible to say the least. Poor Louis – I felt as bad for him as I did for Sabrina. What a sweetheart he seems to be, and I think he truly believed they were going to be safe. As a matter of fact, the look on Karina’s face, including tears, led me to think she thought she would be going home. Truth be told, none of them should have been in the bottom 3 last night. Who are all these people voting for Kirstie? My goodness, she can’t hold a candle to any of those in the final 3 and she darn well knows it. She even said so herself. But, if I had to pick who expressed the most shock and dismay over Sabrina and Louie’s departure, it was the judges themselves, who did not hold back from showing their own disbelief and disappointment.
