FINALLY, Waltrip is eliminated.
November 4, 2014 at 1:58 pm #45848PattiParticipanthis following sent enough better dancers home, IMO. Tommy should be next.
November 4, 2014 at 2:29 pm #45851MKParticipantI was clapping so hard when his name was finally announced. I couldn’t believe how upset Emma was! She couldn’t stop crying. Makes me wonder if something was going on between the two. I know it’s normal for partners to have their arms around one another but she and Waltrip always looked a little too clingy. And when they went out to the dance floor for their final "dance" you could tell she didn’t want to let him go. Was she that upset when Bill Engvall got voted off? I think she may have cried a little but not to this extent.
November 11, 2014 at 1:59 pm #45897PattiParticipantthe first real tragedy of the voting system. Lea Thompson goes home while Tommy Chong hobbles on. I’m sick of it!!! I will admit that Lea was a little too "full of herself" at times, but the 53-yr. old lady could dance, and that’s what it’s supposed to be about. Tommy Chong is lucky he can hobble on out there from week to week, and stupid Len keeps singing his praises every week; it just makes me gag. I swear, I feel like writing Lea just to apologize to her for the total screw-up this show makes at this point. I don’t give a damn how popular Chong is, this was horrible to watch a talent like Lea go home while someone stays who can’t even shine her shoes. Worse than that, there were 3 extremely talanted couples up for elimination last night, any of which could have gone home because of this horrible system. Now I have to watch Peta drags Chong’s aching old bones out there for another week. Sorry, but I’m just so PI$$ED!!!!!! AAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!
November 11, 2014 at 2:12 pm #45899caseyParticipanton pretty much all these reality competition shows. Just a popularity contest although I do think when the champ is crowned it will be Alfonso. That Waltrip hung around was almost as bad as Tommy. I think maybe Len is relating age-wise with Chong and I do have to admit for someone 76 even to have energy to perform is quite admirable.
Nonetheless, you are absolutely right that for Lea to be voted off was a crime. Even though she too irritated me at times.November 13, 2014 at 2:13 pm #45916MKParticipantI agree. Tommy should have absolutely been the one to go home this week. That second dance was ridiculous; the one where he danced with Peta and Sharna. It was embarassing. He danced for about 30 seconds and he shaked his hips. How could that even qualify as a dance? He got 7’s for that.
I never cared too much for Lea at all. I never saw any real passion in her dances nor have I felt anything when she danced. I just didn’t enjoy watching her. Even when she did the paso with Artem and the other male dancer, it just wasn’t convincing for me. It’s funny; she’s an actress but I never felt any real emotion or expression from her. It’s as if she was trying too hard to be technically perfect. With that said, she certainly didn’t deserve to go home this week as she is much better than Tommy. Tommy should have gone home this week and Lea next week.
It’s anybody’s guess as to who will go home next week. I’m still rooting for Alfonso or Sadie and now even Janel. I think Bethany is overrated. I don’t think she should win.
November 13, 2014 at 3:11 pm #45921MKParticipantOne other thing I forgot to mention…What is up with Mark Ballas? He again looked like he had something up his butt after his last dance with Sadie. Now she said she forgot a part of the dance so she made something up but the judges gave them a lot of praise and they got all 10’s. He again looked mad right after the dance and during the judges’ comments. He used to look so happy. Maybe he needs to leave the show. He just doesn’t seem like he wants to be there anymore.
November 13, 2014 at 3:28 pm #45924PattiParticipantand it appears to me that he can’t stand the fact of anyone messing up or making him look bad. Maybe he should have thought about that when he made a slip-up. Sadie is sensational but he’s really tough on his partners. Always has been.
November 13, 2014 at 4:31 pm #45926shadowParticipantHe gives me the creeps. All the dancers are almost naked. And some are worse than others. I still don’t like listening to Val and watching him being all over her. She seems to like it too well. I hope they don’t win.
I am rooting for Alphonso and Sadie.
