Holy cow, I couldn’t believe who was in the bottom three. I was thinking during the show that Helio just might be the one to win it all, then he shows up in second to last place. I guess this season is going to be full of surprises.
IMO, Kirstie or Bristol should be next. This is where it becomes very evident that it’s a popularity contest, not based on dancing ability. But I can’t for the life of me understand how Kirstie is so popular. (She was saying all over the place she got down to a size 4??? No way is she a size 4, 16 maybe but she’s still pretty chunky.) I get Bristol because of her mom but even though she’s improved greatly, she’s not up to par with the others.
Since Drew came out of the bottom two, hopefully Helio will too. I’m mainly cheering for him and Gilles. My God, that man is good looking, and just soooo sexy. Gonna be interesting!

This week, I wasn’t surprised about Joey; but I was that Bristol was not in the bottom two. I totally agree that Bristol and Kirstie are the two weakest. We all see it and the stars recognize that the bar is soooo high right out of the gate this year that the A+ game better be brought to the floor. However, that pesky "popularity vote" is still going to rear its ugly head I’m afraid.

One of them should have gone home last night (though I was also hoping Kelly Monaco would go as I just can not stand her personality, or shall I say, her lack of one). Kirstie can not keep up with the fast dances and Bristol is just not in the same league as the rest. I’m rooting for Sabrina all the way.
October 3, 2012 at 9:41 pm #35714caseyParticipantthis show (though I caught Apollo the other night and he was so good I couldn’t tell who was the pro!) but will someone tell me the appeal of Bristol? I mean the connection w/Mom is long gone and she’s still hanging around. Does the younger set really follow her? Really, does she deserve her own show too?
She has no personality to draw me and can’t dance; they could take someone from the audience who would have more spark.October 3, 2012 at 10:52 pm #35717PattiParticipantshe’s very wooden, and if one of the best pro dancers on the show can’t loosen her up, she needs to go now before someone way more deserving gets sent home.
October 3, 2012 at 10:56 pm #35718BonbonParticipanta pretty good following among the younger set. I watched the show once and didn’t much care for it. But I still think she’s got mom’s cronies still voting for her too. Someone must be voting for her to keep her coming back because she sure isn’t doing it with her dancing.
But I’d really rather have Kirstie go than Bristol. I’m so tired of her. Yes, she’s 61 years old and it’s quite a feat for her to dance like that but she’s just not funny to me anymore. Believe it or not, I’m kind of getting tired of Maks too. I think I like Val much better. At least he has some humility.
