It looks to me like there’s a lot of potential this year, both from the men and the women. Arquette, Kardashian, and the soap star (don’t remember his name) all look very prommising. So does Chynna, Hope, Ricky Lake, and possibly even Elizabetta.
And don’t you just love Maks’ brother? He’s so much like Maks. This should be interesting to watch their competitiveness. Boy, that soap star certainly has the personally, especially after all that he’s gone through. 30+ surgeries…OMG! It’s funny but even with all his deformities, he’s still very attractive.
I think Nancy Grace is going to be the first to go. I don’t see any possibility there. And it looks to me that Chaz is going to be this years token crowd pleaser. They are going to use him just like they did Kate Gosslin and Sara Palin’s daughter for the sympathy vote, and I’m convinced the producers use their powers to make that happen. That’s why they put him on last, to keep everybody around til the end of the show. I’m sorry but he’s just too fat to look good at the dance.
Love the new studio but I hate the music selections…most of the time. There is such great danceable music out there, why can’t they use it? I really hate it when they use a song for a cha-cha that is not a cha-cha song. They did that last year over and over with the paso doble. Grrrr…

I liked Chynna, Ricki, and J.R. The rest did pretty good, but they are my favorites. And Carson is going to be a hoot for entertainment! Keeping Chaz til last was so obviously planned by the producers. I agree with you, Bonbon, that he is going to be that contestant who will be kept on to garner ratings and please the crowd. He didn’t do too badly given the fact that he has so much weight to deal with, so we’ll see how much his body can handle with the grueling practices ahead.
One other thing…I hope the Kardashian sisters can keep their mouths shut during the time that Rob lasts on the show. I thought that Kloe’s outburst last night was totally out of line and just another way for her to be in someone’s face. As you can see, I’m not a fan.

He just has no innate talent for dance. I never even knew they had a brother until Dancing. Nancy Grace has some promise. I thought she was light on her feet. I didn’t see Chaz’s dance or Ricki Lake’s. Will watch them tonight.

Plus, he did very well with his dance. His horrific scars and facial disfigurement are in no way detrimental to him, and he has talent besides that. I just think he’ll go a long way in the competition, and I’ll be in his corner all the way.
I think the basketball player should be first to go; he was terrible, and so was (can’t remember her name, but) George Clooney’s x-girlfriend. She looked so off-balance and totally had no ryhythm whatsoever.
And Bonbon, you are so right about Maks’ brother. They are definitely going to be fun to watch this season. I’m so glad Maks drew Hope Solo. She’s not only a beautiful girl, but she is as graceful on the dancefloor as she is diving for the soccar ball to stop a goal. I really loved watching her on the USA Women’s Team when they were playing for the 2011 FIFA Gold Cup in Germany. We came in second in the finals, but she definitely had a lot to do with us getting her there. Yeahhhh, maybe Maksim has a chance this year with her as his partner.
