But it has nothing to do with the Rape. I don’t think they make a good couple. I think Sami is a different person with EJ than she is with Rafe and I don’t like who she is with EJ. Come to think of it I don’t like who EJ is with Sami. I think he is obsessed with her, not in love with her. Which makes for a completely different dynamic in the relationship that I don’t like.
So you can dislike EJ and Sami and it not have anything to do with the rape. And it was rape.
As for Sami and Rafe, I LOVE them. I have from the beginning and I love how slow their relationship grew. It was just a great story and I think they have a ton of chemistry.

EJ is very controlling and while Sami might need a little controlling at times, she needs a different type to help the character mature than EJ is capable of providing. JMHO

It looks like they are now going to throw Arianna at him which would probably be okay but would preclude Nicole getting back with him again when she returns from her maternity leave. I am kind of disappointed in that. I’m sure EJ and Arianna will have sparks (EJ would have sparks with Susan Boyle!) but I’m still a confirmed EJ/Nicole fan.

December 30, 2009 at 12:07 am #8980IzzyBParticipantI could see if Sami did it for money or some other superficual reason. Than I could understand people not calling it Rape. But EJ put Sami in a position where she had no choice but to have sex with him. That to me is rape. When you are forced to have sex and you do not want to have sex, that is the definition of rape. What option did Sami have? Let Lucas die?
December 30, 2009 at 12:59 pm #8988BonbonParticipantOkay, people, we have more than beat this dead horse into oblivion. How about we all just agree to disagree on the subject and move on. We’ll never get the others to see our side, whichever one it is. I don’t think the "R" word should be mentioned again where it pertains to EJ or Sami. Dontcha think?
December 30, 2009 at 5:15 pm #8997IzzyBParticipantI am good with that.
