Millions. That’s hilarious. Many I’ll give you but obviously not the majority or you’d be getting more than a one episode quikie. The point I’ve been trying to make is finally confirmed, its all about EJ no matter how horrible so why subject him to Sami. Does she deserve torture or to be unhappy, because that’s all he’s ever made her life since he met her. And its not bad writing, its just not going your way and he’s not being written how you want him. I think the writers should have never tried to change him because it was horrible and not believable in the least. Besides James Scott wants to be the bad guy and doesn’t even like the Ejami pairing so why not make his job a little easier?
January 9, 2010 at 4:02 am #941053tdogsParticipantthat want to see EJ and Sami together in any kind of story line. There is such a chemistry (I’ve said this a zillion times before) between them.
It’s not one espisode, it’s the entire history of EJ and Sami being together and the "sparks" that those two have when they are on screen – they are like a Tracy/Heburn or Grant/any of his leading ladies…
It’s not what Mr. Scott or the writer’s want – it’s all about the fans and what they want to see (at least most of us). He can be horrible, he is horrible – I’ll give you that; but then so can his leading lady Sami (Nicole was good at fawning over him and her quest for him and his money and her so-called family). Sami can leave him but there is always that attraction and pull back toward EJ no matter how much she trys to get away. Of all Sami’s men in the past, EJ is the one who gets under her skin.
I’d rather see the quick heated love or hate repartee that flares up between Samantha and EJ than most of the acting that goes on between other characters.
January 9, 2010 at 4:11 am #9411kayParticipantI’m not trying to fight but you have just as many who hate then as those who love them. Personally I have never seen this so called chemistry. In fact their scenes are irritating to watch and even without the controversial s/l I still wouldn’t root for them. I think EJ has chemistry with every other woman he’s been with including Kate. He and Nicole looked great together but it was ruined for what this stupid baby switch crap? Right now he and Arianna are looking mighty good.
January 9, 2010 at 4:22 am #941253tdogsParticipantWe don’t fight here. We, as fans discuss our show passionately – what our likes and dislikes are as the show unfolds – that’s all. Everyone of us can find a charater that pushes our buttons (some days we love our ‘person’ other days or even in the same episode we’re ready to send them to Switzerland – and you know what happens then).
January 9, 2010 at 4:43 am #9413justwonderingParticipantSorry, I just don’t see it. EJ is a villain, a wolf in sheep’s clothing. His condust is terriblw and yet he is self-rightous. I did like him with Nicole because she knew what he was and loved him anyway. I am one who like Sami with Lucas.
January 9, 2010 at 1:02 pm #9416BonoSugaRayParticipantAll right, Kay. You got me there, my friend! Besides, outside of Vivian, Victor, Kate and Stefano, who else can play the role of evil, and do it soooooooooooo amazingly well?!
[I’m in love with a BAD BOY! lol]
January 9, 2010 at 4:23 pm #9420kayParticipantNicole can be pretty evil but she is truely the only bad guy with a heart of gold. Everyone else you listed including EJ have no heart.
January 9, 2010 at 4:41 pm #9421BonoSugaRayParticipanthow does he have NO HEART?! Does he NOT love his daughter?!
January 9, 2010 at 7:05 pm #9423kayParticipantThe one he kidnapped to use in a game as a pawn? Well that’s the way Stefano would show his love, but I think its heartless. He’s keeping the child away from her mother because its all about EJ and his pain, his revenge. You know what that gives me an idea. I think I’m gonna send my 5 year olds purple heart pillow that say "Its All about ME" to Days as a gift to EJ. Maybe they can display it in EJ’s room.
January 9, 2010 at 7:54 pm #9424majencoParticipantTotally agree. Why would we see him freaking out over the ransom note when no one else was around? Stupid!!!
January 9, 2010 at 7:57 pm #9425majencoParticipantWhat is the ultimate goal here? Is he going to pretend to pay the ransom and then never have Sydney found? I don’t get the end game. Why bother with the ransom if he just wants to keep her away from Sami, he has already achieved that. Is he trying to deflect suspicion from himself by paying? Not making much sense here, somebody pass me the Salem brain so I can figure this one out.
January 9, 2010 at 8:08 pm #9426DeeLanParticipantIs he really trying to keep Sydney from Sami or use this as a way to draw Sami closer to him? Having her lie to Rafe I don’t think is to keep Rafe from finding the link back to him but to have Sami keep things from him and drive a wedge between them.
January 9, 2010 at 9:23 pm #9428majencoParticipantGood theory. This is what will happen ultimately regardless of what EJ is trying to do. So you think EJ will pay the ransom and "find" Sydney and then reveal to Rafe that Sami kept the notes from him? It is a pretty sneaky EJ like plan. DeeLan I believe you have the Salem brain today!
January 9, 2010 at 9:49 pm #9429kayParticipantI think its about revenge. At the same time he can make Rafe look bad if something goes wrong and he can look like the hero. If it were just about revenge I’d say it is pretty smart of him. But if this is another attempt to get close to Sami again. Its pretty pathetic. I’ve never seen such a pretty boy have to work so hard to get the girl.
January 10, 2010 at 12:24 am #9438BonoSugaRayParticipantcan it be that EJ is having the ransom be so high (5 mil), just so he can have a reason to take money out of the Dimera fortune and store it for himself, without Stefano finding out?
