I am such a wimp when it comes to the Sami/Rafe Sami/EJ storyline. I can’t make up my mind which one I like her with…although they both could eat crackers in my bed…
If she’s with Rafe, I am pro-Rafe.
If she’s with EJ, I’m pro-EJ.
Not a decisive bone in my body on this one. But I noticed on Friday’s show that EJ was really talking rough to her about her shooting him in the head. So wonder why Sami didn’t come back with "well, you raped me. So we’re even!" ?
Do rape and attempted murder cross each other out?
Wonder why the writer’s decided to let Sami forget that incident? Story-driven plot I suppose.
But at least when they’re fighting, it seems that she would throw that out at him.
So which one is the meanest…EJ or Sami?
November 20, 2010 at 11:43 am #18314bluebonnetParticipantbut Sami seems dumber. Give a break, woman! Buy yourself a door peephole and get someone to teach you how to use it. She has always been bad about opening the door to anyone, but now that she knows EJ is hounding her, she opens the door without hesitation? Actually, everyone in Salem suffers from this dumbness. And, I still think (as others have stated in a separate thread) that Nicole is a better mother. Was Sami REALLY thinking of her kids when she shot EJ? But, back to the original question, EJ seems much scarier to me than Sami. Yes, he can soften when Sami works her charms on him, but most of the time he seems very cruel.
November 20, 2010 at 12:32 pm #18316DeeLanParticipantSami is more conniving and emotion driven on revenge but she does have some that she won’t touch such as those she loves. EJ is more diabolocal and even though his evilness is driven by emotion he doesn’t care who it is he hurts, his father, the woman he says he loves or some Jo Schmo walking down the street and EJ can be more dangerous.
November 20, 2010 at 1:56 pm #18317PattiParticipantshe lets him. Sure, she yells at him and screams back at him and stands up to him to a point, but he scares her to death and he knows it. Just like she should have yelled into the phone when Rafe called her that E.J. was there. E.J. told her, "if you tell him I’m here, you’ll be sorry," so she didn’t. She should have thrown the phone at him and said ‘here, tell it to Rafe,’ but she is, no matter what she claims, afraid of him. No wonder, he pops veins in his head and neck screaming at her at the top of his lungs. It’s no wonder a neighbor didn’t call the police. Sami is treacherous and mean, but she’s no match for him physically, so she tries to hurt him with words and other actions, only to lose every time, especially when she is alone with him. She knows how to calm him down, just like yesterday when she started to get to him, but then he simply had to look at her and Rafe’s picture to be reminded of his plan. E.J.’s the meanest, because he could and would physically hurt her (chloroform) by any means available to him, whereas all she can do is make idle threats and remind him how much she truly hates him. The only means she has or has ever had to beat him was to shoot him, so that’s what she did. They both need to be on some serious medication.
November 20, 2010 at 3:37 pm #18321cornbreadParticipantI agree I think EJ is deep down mean..and Sami is stupid mean. LOVE the comment about the door..that’s so true! Why would you open the door without knowing who is on the other side, when you have just had your life and your kids lives threatened? Only Sami….

November 20, 2010 at 4:25 pm #18323caseyParticipantHe’s much more ruthless than Sami. Sami pulled some mega stunts in her day, but at least nowadays she has some vigilianty-type justice in her head for her actions.
November 20, 2010 at 4:57 pm #18325SWParticipantSami does things but usually without thinking of the consequences – emotional reaction type and frequently for some type of self-preservation and sometimes to get what she wants. EJ is a plotter, vindicative, and violent; just to get what he wants!
November 20, 2010 at 5:56 pm #1832853tdogsParticipantyour second question answered – (it seems to be verboten to speak of) but Sami is guilty of the exact same.
I wonder why Sami didn’t turn on the camera on her cell on to capture what EJ was saying. I thought she may have been smart enough to do that, alas, Sami is what some of you alluded to in this posting – not the smartest cookie in the jar.
