Okay, I’m getting tired of all the crying and sobbing. Yes, I understand both Maggie and Hope have lost their husbands but let’s save it for the funeral. It’s becoming a real downer.
January 13, 2010 at 9:45 pm #9603IwovemyboysParticipantbut that’s what the forum is for, to discuss Days. The likes/dislikes what have you of the show. Most people are disgusted, inlcuding myself with the Bo/Carly situation which is why the board is lighting up with it. And as far as Maggie goes, well everyone is heartbroken for her and I have to give Suzanne Rogers credit for her acting in these scenes. She’s done a great job!
January 14, 2010 at 12:24 am #9609PattiParticipantespecially where Maggie is concerned. Mia is a little over-the-top; she didn’t know Mickey that well and I know she claims to think of Maggie as the mother she wished she had, but she hasn’t been around that long and I’m not buying it. Maybe she is so broken inside from her own misfortune that it’s just now coming out. I still believe Maggie will fall off the wagon before all is said and done; that’s why I’m so damn upset that Lucas will be gone. He could have been the rock for her that she has always been for him. As for Hope, she thinks she’s lost Bo for good and is now just realizing it. Maybe instead of crying over him, she should just walk away. Then, when he comes to his senses, if he ever does, she can tell him to take a hike. I know that’s not the way they’ll play it, but I sure would like to see her tell them both to go straight to hell….together!
January 14, 2010 at 6:48 am #9615GoodyParticipantactually get to see the funeral? I am afraid we will be cheated out of an appropriate ‘send off’ for Mickie. There should be a church and house full of friends and family.

January 14, 2010 at 1:23 pm #9622BonbonParticipant,,,it’s possible that Mia did, indeed, become very attached to Mickey. Just as she considers Maggie her surrogate mother, maybe she also felt the same way about Mickey. After all, we only see these people for an hour a day. I’m just saying, it’s not out of the rhelm of possibility.
I agree it’s a shame Lucas won’t be around for Maggie to lean on. It would be a chance for him to return all Maggie has done for him. I know there are rumors of Maggie falling off the wagon but I would think now would be the time (if this is true) rather than later. I believe her pain is the most intense right now. But I could be wrong.
January 14, 2010 at 3:42 pm #9628IzzyBParticipantI am sure of it, especially after I read about someone who is coming back for the funeral.
January 14, 2010 at 3:44 pm #9629IzzyBParticipantI was going to respond with the same thing. Mia did live with both of them and probably started to think of him as a father.
January 14, 2010 at 3:46 pm #9630IzzyBParticipantI am ok with a lot of tears if it is for a good reason (which it is), if they have some off scenes (which they did with Ari, Brady, Chloe, and Dr. Dan), and if it does not last for 2 months (which I can’t imagine it will).
I have liked the scenes and am glad they are not glossing over everything.
