For the first time in my DOOL watching career – I am officially watching out of loyalty and not for any entertainment value.
WHAT A BORE!!!
The only person who gets credit on that show is the people who write the dialogue we see (as I know that’s not the same person who creates the SL and Plot.) I don’t give them credit for turning out this drivel – but I give them credit for making these actors same the same lines over and over without actually saying the same lines over and over.

Love Nicole and Vic/Mags and still wondering why Days decided to make Belle such a negative character. And what a bust Black Patch was – or should I say non-entity. I thought we’d be in for some crme drama there. Boy would I love to chat w/the story creators and figure how they think this is entertainment.
May 21, 2016 at 6:03 pm #51625PattiParticipantthat this is all Griffith/Millstein’s stories. Higley may be back, but she returned in February, and since this damn show still seems to air 5-6 months after taping, this means Dena’s stories won’t air until mid-late summer. I would imagine Griffith’s heart just wasn’t in it to win it! LOL!

The only thing (for me) that could save the show is Ali’s return. And I know that’s not happening so i’ll continue to casually watch while I get work done and FF thru the people I don’t like.
May 22, 2016 at 1:21 pm #51632mommytutuParticipantFor sweeps month, it sure is a snooze of a show. I watch my DVRed show at 4:30 in the morning while face booking. I miss absolutely nothing because the same stuff happens day after day. I’m moving on June 9th and I’ve got the feeling I’m not going to miss a thing while without TV. Where’s the excitement?
May 22, 2016 at 4:11 pm #51636PattiParticipantwhen Theresa and/or Summer are on! Nothing these two characters can do or say to make me watch, except perhaps leave.
May 23, 2016 at 1:08 pm #51639BonbonParticipantthe most boring show in years. I ended up not watching the rest of it after Aiden and Hope standing in the park while Hope was getting drenched and Aiden was totally dry.
May 23, 2016 at 3:41 pm #51640caseyParticipantif she’s not passionate about her job. These writers get paid handsomely and should absolutely be driven to come up with entertaining material. What is it? Just people accepting a paycheck and doing the minimal? Surely no sensible person can believe this is must see tv. Boy, could I give them a piece of my mind!!
May 24, 2016 at 12:36 am #51644PattiParticipant"Josh" Griffith is a man. He had some trouble getting through his final days when he was writing for Y&R as well. It’s like for some writers, when they know they’re leaving the show, they seem to lose their desire, and you are right, that’s just shameful because they’re still accepting the same paycheck. I don’t know how much better Dena will be, since I’ve read that she can be difficult to work with, but Quan is younger and has been with the show for quite a few years himself, knows the characters and their history….so we’ll see if there’s any improvement. Otherwise, I think this show is in big trouble.
May 24, 2016 at 3:54 am #51645caseyParticipantForgive me Mr. Griffith!
