Wow I must say that was a powerful scene between Eric and that junkie. It almost brought me to tears.
I thought the same thing. Very moving performances by both actors. I think Nicole finally got to see how important Eric’s being a priest really is to him. Too bad, though, since I now believe it will be Eric’s decision to leave because he realizes he still have feelings for Nicole and turned to the priesthood for the wrong reasons. I don’t think it will happen anytime soon, though. I think they will both fight it for a while longer.
That was one of the most powerful scenes ever! Not sure who is playing Kevin, but he was very good. Greg V’s acting is wonderful and I’m eager to see where the prison ministry goes.
of the Nick and the inmate storyline, which I’m anxious to get into. The inmate (Vargas) who stabbed Nick in prison circled his calendar with the date of March 15th I think, which is when he will be getting out of prison, so it’s perfect timing for Eric to begin his counseling, not knowing, of course, that he is the prisoner that will take Nick over the edge, as if he can get any worse with his obsession of Gabi and what he refers to as "HIS" baby. Can’t wait.
Maybe I missed this but we have not really seen Eric on the show for years so how do he and Nicole have a past together? It takes years to be priest too and I find it so funny the family did not even know he was a priest and never went to his ordination.
Nicole and Eric dated a while. Then Kate payed Nicole 5 million to marry Lucas, I forget why she wanted lucas to marry him.
So he’s had plenty of time to become a priest. And his family knew about it but nobody else in town did.
to marry Lucas so that Lucas would get custody of Will. If Lucas married Nicole, that would supposedly prove that he had a stable married/home life. Ha!
I looked up the dates… before this new actor started, we had not seen Eric Brady since 2000. I would say 12 years is plenty of time for him to go through what he did AND become a priest! Can’t believe it had been that long. I really liked the original actor too… too bad for us he has had a lot of success since Days!
wow that means Nicole has been on the show over 12 years too . The years really do go by sometimes . Thanks for filling me in even tho I don’t remember some of that stuff.
