What a sensitive man he is – a little too much for my liking.
First he was a priest – then he was holier than thou – now he’s like a whiney little girl. Ugh – why can’t he be on his way out. I don’t like Eric – never have (though Greg does a great portrayl of him – thumbs up!!!)
I’m glad they didn’t make love in the closet – would’ve been too cliche. But the way Eric is running around chasing down Nicole you would’ve thought they made love, had a baby and then gave the kid away. You kissed Eric – relax.
July 6, 2015 at 1:39 am #47605PattiParticipantI used to love Eric when he was a priest. Now that was when he was one sexy man, even if he was a man of the cloth. Now, though, he grates on my nerves. All the hell he put Nicole through, even when she deserved it, then he kicked her to the curb when Serena came rolling into Salem. He was so wrapped up in his past with Serena that he forgot to look past that time and find out what she was today. Now that he knows of her past with Xander, it’s back to picking Nicole up, dusting her off, and wanting to start all over again. He is not my idea of a good catch any longer, but knowing Nicole like we know Nicole, she’ll forget all about how he treated her, as she does every man who crushes her heart. Really, all this sorrow now over a kiss and a thought of what might have been. Get over it, Eric….and get over yourself while you’re at it. All Eric is to me now is just another pretty face.

July 6, 2015 at 10:04 pm #47608caseyParticipantthe honorable qualities of his priesthood and remember how he was reluctant to be intimate with Nicole before marriage? Boy did he leave that behind quick.
You are right – I would love to see a stronger character yet still interesting and complex. I wonder how the new writing staff will put their stamp on this soap.July 6, 2015 at 10:10 pm #47609PattiParticipantI thing it would be a world of fun if she got interested in becoming one of Salem’s finest and partnered up with Hope; sort of a Cagney and Lacy type partnership — and stay away from the men in her life who bring her nothing but grief — yep, that’s what I’d like to see for Nicole.
July 7, 2015 at 12:30 am #47611TFlo1018ParticipantI love Greg but UGH Eric LOL
July 7, 2015 at 12:50 pm #47617caseyParticipantMore interesting than her working as some rag “journalist.” It would add drama too. But I’d prefer a private detective agency and they would have more leeway and not have to go by the book so much.
July 8, 2015 at 11:56 am #47625BonbonParticipantDid you really say that? I won’t say chauvinistic but it certainly isn’t very flattering toward women.
July 9, 2015 at 5:07 pm #47647TFlo1018ParticipantI think you have offered enough homophobic comments on the board to last a lifetime no?! And women are more emotional than men. That is not chauvinistic (and I’m sure you used that word incorrectly here) at all – women in general are more hormonal for obvious reasons. Sensitivity – mood swings. That’s not me dear – that’s science.
July 9, 2015 at 5:38 pm #47652BonbonParticipantfigure out why you always have to bring homophobia into your replies to me. Where in the world did I even allude or hint to it? Nor did I say it was chauvinistic. You like to twist my words, don’t you? :o)
You say women are more hormonal? How about men and that pesky little thing called testosterone? Phew, what that causes men to do!
July 9, 2015 at 7:19 pm #47654TFlo1018ParticipantEric wasn’t acting with testesterone – he was acting EMOTIONAL (i.e. he’s all over the place with how he is feeling.)
I’m saying that you didn’t need to use the word chauvanistic b/c I’m not sure you were close to using it in the right way. Just pointing that out.
You didn’t hint to homophobia in this thread – but you had (MANY TIMES) in the past. It’s okay if that’s who you are – but if we’re going to throw stones here (calling me out on my Eric reference) then I’m going to RE-ADDRESS how many stones you have thrown in the past. And we have discussed MANY of them Bon (let’s not play dumb here.)
