Does anyone any of the scenes with these two? I FF every single scene they are in together. I also FF every scene with him and his excellency (spelling?) or the Bishop or Brother Timothy. I’m Catholic – but forgive me, these scenes are so boring.
And his scenes with Nicole are the same over and over (and over.) Ari and Greg must love showing up for work as I’m assuming they pick up ONE script for the month and memorize one set of lines – that way all they need is a costume change and that’s it.
Zzz…. I want him to become a Priest again so we can be done with this storyline once and for all (though I doubt he’ll be a Priest. There’s no story in that.)
August 6, 2014 at 12:54 am #44892majencoParticipantActually there is only a costume change aout once a week!
August 6, 2014 at 1:06 am #44893TFlo1018ParticipantSo they pick up their script on the 1st and show up for the 8th 15th 22nd and 29th and just repeat those lines in new clothes. Lord knows the script doesn’t change. ::: yawn :::
August 6, 2014 at 3:53 am #44896majencoParticipantYup! I wonder if they just use Fabreze?
August 6, 2014 at 12:24 pm #44897caseyParticipantre-instated but still conflicted over Nicole. Otherwise why bother having them go to Italy?
August 6, 2014 at 2:22 pm #44898MKParticipantI also fast forward a lot of their scenes together and Eric’s scenes with the other priests as they are mostly boring and repetitive. I think I watched about 30 seconds of Eric and Nicole in yesterday’s show but I am sure I didn’t miss anything. I wonder how much longer this storyline will go on?
August 6, 2014 at 2:54 pm #44899PattiParticipantfrom her “love of her life,” Father Eric. Blah! This entire storyline has been a huge bust for me, because (admittedly) I want Eric to remain a priest. I, too, am Catholic and I have never appreciated Nicole’s or Eric’s lusting for one another. It diminishes his vocation for me, and I realize I’m in the minority; however, I love AZ and her talent as an actress is beyond compare. I want Nicole to find true love, but not with Eric Brady. There are many avenues they could take these two actors down and still be interesting without having them pine for one another, only to watch them fail in the love department over and over and over again. Just move these two out of one another’s orbit and take them on adventures that will bring out the best in both of them.
August 6, 2014 at 10:41 pm #44901caseyParticipantI’m a fellow Catholic. But I fear Days is going to do just that – back to the conflicted Eric story. I mean haven’t we been through this since Eric came back to town? I’d like to see Eric in a kind of Ralph Waite role only more involved. But I guess Days doesn’t see it that way.
August 6, 2014 at 10:57 pm #44902bradysgmaParticipantI’m Catholic, too & I just can’t see Eric (ex-priest or not) marrying Nicole outside of the Church. Maybe he will go back to the priesthood if he knows he can’t marry Nicole. Yes, it is possible, even at this late date, for Nicole to get her past marriages annulled. That is the only way he could and should marry Nicole.
August 6, 2014 at 11:56 pm #44904TFlo1018ParticipantIt would be so nice to have a moral compass in Salem. Eric can be a Priest and still heavily involved with the family. Ari deserves better than this story and Greg does play the part of a Priest so well.
Giving Eric to Nicole paints her in a bad light long term. Having her pine over him long term is a big ole snore. Let him forgive her – become a Priest and have her move on. I’ve always liked her with Brady but that’s JMO…
August 7, 2014 at 2:16 pm #44908mommytutuParticipantI personally fel that Nicole has more chemistry with Dan. I’d rather see the two of them as best friends than either of them in bland relationships with Jen and Eric.
