A little too soon resilient? She popped out of her grief after that Bo vision, ready to hunt down his captors. I actually had to laugh when she curtly told a drunken Steve to “snap out of it!”
November 25, 2015 at 3:13 am #49789justwonderingParticipantI really understand that she was devestated over Bo’s death. However, first she cannot function to the point of not even aking sure Ciera and Shaen D are ok. Next, she wants to stay locked u in her room. Finally, she wants revenge (along with Victor).
Her reactions were worse thatn Sami being calm when Will died
November 25, 2015 at 12:44 pm #49791mommytutuParticipantI think it might have been better if it were the next day, but the same day/episode made it very odd and out of place.
November 25, 2015 at 5:19 pm #49803PattiParticipantwas more like a conjuring … her own manifestation of Bo…. rather than a ghost or even a vision. This is what I took from their lines…. Hope: "Bo, is it really you?" Bo: "No, it’s you." Then she asks what can she do, and Bo implies she knows what to do, implying that it is up to her to find the people responsible for taking him away from her and their children. Maybe a little corny in some respect, but that’s how I understood it. When she regained reality, she grew stronger, knowing in that moment exactly what she had to do, and she needed Steve’s help to do it. I liked it a lot! I’m so ready for some real kick-a$$ Hope action.
November 25, 2015 at 5:42 pm #49806justwonderingParticipantIsn’t this SL just like Sami’s? When she returned for Will’s funeral, she was devastated. She shuts herself in her room when she find EJ’s letter and gets a purpose. This just happened in the last several weeks. Never mind she just lost her son, never mind she has 3 children in LA with a nanny. She goes head long into revenge mode flys off to Switzerland.
NOW, Hope is devastated especially how quickly this happened after getting Bo back. She shuts herself in her room, gets Bo’s vision and now she is ready to run off and avenge Bo. Never mind she has Ciera and Shawn who just lost their dad who needs her support.
Look familiar. I just feel that this is a repeat (even Eve went revenge mode). Is this how all peopl cope with death?
I think I would be more concerned with my children and Caroline and how death is affecting them, not running off o avenge the dead.
November 25, 2015 at 7:23 pm #49807DCola522ParticipantMake sure your children are ok first!! Grieve with your family for a few days (or at least ONE!) then you can go off and find Bo’s captor. I understood her wanting to be alone and locking herself in her room, but Shawn and Ciara should be her first priority. She knows they will be devastated, esp Ciara. They need her. Her sudden need to go after someone was very out of character.
November 25, 2015 at 8:06 pm #49808PattiParticipantand I wish it wasn’t, but it is. I see no similarities between the two, especially since I read all over social media and in her own interview that Ali Sweeney was the one who pushed for that sl for Sami, even though she knew darn well that James had no intention of returning now, or anytime soon.
November 26, 2015 at 1:51 am #49809majencoParticipantI agree that this is just like the Sami storyline and neither woman is making their children a priority.
November 26, 2015 at 3:39 am #49814jessad7ParticipantVery similar to Sami’s reaction. It made me wonder if Sami and Hope will team up to finish off the Dimera’s.
Also, what’s up with Hope’s vision of this almost evil sounding Bo? Seems very odd so far.
November 26, 2015 at 2:55 pm #49818justwonderingParticipantWhat gets me is this constant Bo is my hero. Again, she is helpless and devasted until Bo appears to her and gives her direction. He is still in control even in death.
I would have preferred that Hope "suck" it up and be strong for her daughter, son and mother-in-law. After all Hope knows that the greatest tragedy in life is to outlive your child.
She needs to be with her family. I totally agree with Steve that she has obligations that need to be met before she goes off (much like Sami did) to avenge her husband’s death.
November 26, 2015 at 4:27 pm #49826PattiParticipantIt’s what she is projecting what he is telling her to do. Bo Brady would never, ever tell Hope to seek out his captors knowing how dangerous they are. This is all on Hope. At least that’s the way I see it.
Speaking of Hope, I can’t recall Kristian shedding so many what appear to be "real" tears since Zach died.
